External Hard Drive recommendations for FM25

I am currently right now looking out for hard drives to get to use for FM25, I have largely been using my stadard laptop hard drive (HP Pavillion Windows 11) for storage, however with the requirements changing for storage for FM25 I am considering purchasing a external hard drive for FM, I am wanting around 1TB of storage.

Are there any hard drives I should be on the look out for, or you highly recommend?

I'm not sure what other peoples thoughts are on it but I can't imagine running FM from an external hard drive would be ideal speed-wise.

I would think it would be a bottleneck unless you have thunderbolt ports

You'd be better off simply looking to upgrade the storage option within your laptop, but first you'd need to know what type of storage drive it uses.  If it's an HDD that's simple enough as you'll just need a SATA drive to replace it.  If it's an SSD it could be SATA or M2, so you'd need to know which version you have to be able to get a correct replacement.

My internal SSD was getting a little full so I went with this - External SSD

I have my entire steam library of games on it. Works with no noticeable difference. All my graphics packs etc are still on my internal SSD.

Yeah, as long as you don't plug them into older USB then external hard drives are perfectly viable.
