Creating XML File to Play Music Playlists in Background

I don't know if this sounds weird but I want some good but not stressful music to play in the background of Football Manager 2009 but I don't wont to run it through an external program I was wondering if someone that knows a bit about XML programming if it is possible to put music files in your FM User directory and then program a XML file to play the music.

XML isn't a programming language so you can't make it do new things. It can't play music back.

To be honest it's hardly difficult to have your music player of choice open in the background. Even if you play full screen you can alt+tab I you need to skip.

but if, like me, using fm09 is pushing my laptop to its limit, you cannot have other applications running, so it would be nice, but alas not possible

I would have thought then even if you could program FM to play music then it would take you over tht limit anyway..

Exactly, playing mp3s uses resources whether it's FM doing it or an external program.

There are a lot of media players out there too and plenty that use very little in the way of resources (one example being 1by1 http://www.mpesch3.de1.cc/1by1.html)

I was just wondering as I wanted the music to just play while on the FM screens not in the match screens.
