In Blue Square North, Boston Utd(40) & Hinckley(35) are in playoff spots, and Hyde(16) have dropped down dangerously. In Blue Square South, Havant & W(32) is in a playoff spot. - Biggest position gain of the month was: Jack Browne who gained 19 positions boosting most notably his tackling stat and being one of the only upper league players with good percentages in both passing and shooting. Biggest loser of the month was: James Hulme who went down 8 positions due to a month where he got a little dirty gaining 2 yellows and losing a sizeable amount of his average rating. - A couple of the players are trying to learn from some teammates: Paulo Reina is learning from Paul McKenna , Daniel Johnson is learning from James Morrison - An international note: Our first senior international appearance goes to Brian Woods he came on as a sub in a 1-1 draw with Sweden making 1 tackle and playing a 6. neurospasm
I think that will probably be in for today's updates, pretty solid I think though. Half a season has passed as all of our players look to progress and make their way into the first team of their new clubs...those that haven't attracted interest from bigger clubs will need to get with the program to reach their full potential! neurospasm
January 2008-09 Update Interesting Info - Injuries: None! - Position Leaders: Best Full Back: Woods- 2nd Place, Best Midfielder: Crane- 3rd Place, Best Striker: Blowcrapup - 1st Place, Best Winger: Kah- 3rd Place, Best and only Defender: Zitman- 14th Place - West Brom(53) & Preston(51) find themselves in the playoff picture in the Championship while Blackpool(30) are in need of some results to avoid relegation. In League 2, Peterborough(51) & Wycombe(50) are in playoff spots. In Blue Square North, Boston Utd(58) leads the league & Histon(51) is in a playoff spot, and Hyde(27) are still struggling. In Blue Square South, Havant & W(44) have made their way back into a playoff spot. - Biggest position gain of the month was: Jason Kah who went up 10 positions in unbelievable fashion as the winger scored 5 goals, 3 assists, and had 2 MOM awards in the month. Magnus Vestergaard lost the most ground this month losing 4 spots as he was bypassed by some players that actually played well in the month. - Transfer News: Bambang Gentolet made a decision to move to the Dutch Premier League with Willem II, Michael Mauvais a successful sign-up thus far also made a move to join League 2 side, Peterborough. - Kirbinho is working on his game some more learning from N.Ireland international Grant McCann. neurospasm
February 2008-09 Update Interesting Info - Injuries: None! - Position Leaders: Best Full Back: Woods- 3rd Place, Best Midfielder: Crane- 1st Place, Best Striker: Blowcrapup - 2nd Place, Best Winger: Kah- 8th Place, Best and only Defender: Zitman- 17th Place - Scunthorpe(60) & West Brom(60) find themselves in the playoff picture in the Championship while Blackpool(36) are in familiar territory in a relegation spot. In League 1, Hull(55) have caught fire at the right time ascending into playoff territory. In League 2, Peterborough(60) & Wycombe(55) are in playoff spots. In Blue Square North, Boston Utd(63) & Histon(58) are in playoff spots, and Hyde(28) sits at the bottom of the table gaining 1 pt all month. - Biggest position gain of the month was: Sam Fisher, he went up 9 positions as the striker has started to be used more by Wycombe. Tom Morgan & Jason Kah lost the most ground this month losing 5 spots each. Kah was unable to follow up his great month and needs a move up divisions to start gaining more points. Morgan did not help his squad much this month but it didn't matter as Hull was on fire. - International News: More players are getting involved on the international stage: Woods got his 2nd cap for Australia, a 4-0 victory in World Cup Qualification against Oman. He played well in a match he didn't have to do much in completing 85% of his passes and making 6 tackles getting a 6 rating. Kah got his first cap for Singapore in a 3-0 friendly loss to Scotland playing a 6 in the game. Also 3 players made their U-21 international debuts: Vestergaard for Sweden, Melia for Ireland, and Heller for Australia.

In Blue Square North, Boston Utd(73) lead the division and Histon(65) is in a playoff spot, Hyde(32) sits at the bottom of the table. - Biggest position gain of the month was: Diego Zitman, he went up 4 positions being fairly unspectacular but that's usually what you want out of a defender. Tom Gunther lost the most ground this month losing 6 spots, once again caused by an untimely red card, just couldn't quite make it through the season without one. - International News: Kah got his 2nd cap for Singapore in a 2-0 friendly loss to Switzerland where he was named captain but failed to perform with only a rating of 5 on this day picking up a yellow card. Osgood made his England U-21 debut this month and scored his first U-21 goal.
