SWalton
Club Info Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña, S.A.D. is a Spanish football club from A Coruña, Galicia, member of the LFP. The club was founded in 1906, and holds home games at the Riazor, with a capacity of 34,600 spectators. Club History For a century, Coruña has lived through moments of sadness and joy, ups and downs, hope and disillusionment. Through uncertain periods immersed in great debt and relatively unknown; through resounding defeats and epic triumphs, until the greatest moment in Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña's history - the first League title of their history in the season of 1999-2000 - through the Champions League nights at Riazor. Deportivo has supported a long rivalry with the Celta de Vigo due to the geographical situation and with Valencia c.f. due to the big duels disputed between both as those of league which is the most remembered of 98 since Deportivo was playing the league against Valencia in the last game, the final of "Copa del Rey" of 95 or the "Supercopa de España" To the clash between both was named "el otro clasico " referring to the clash between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. Kit The official badge depicts a knights belt encircling the original banner of Sala Calvet gymnaisum. The crown in the centre represents the clubs Royal decree and the diagonal blue stripe its identity as a Galician club (Galician flag). Deportivo la Coruña have always played in their famous blue and white stripes, but it was not until 1912 that the club made these colours official for matches. Deportivo continue to wear blue and white striped shirts with blue shorts and socks, yet their second and third kits change annually according to commercial interests. Goalkeepers Your first choice ,Dudu Aouate, is a decent keeper with some good performances in him but nothing special his two back-ups around the same level as him. Not an immediate problem but might be worth investing in a young keeper. Defence Firstly there is no adequate cover for either full backs. One solution would be training a centre back or two to help cover this or get two full backs on the cheap or if your lucky a player that can play on both flanks. The centre backs are ok and their backups arent bad but it will be a situation that will need adressing sooner rather than later. Oh and cant believe they sold Coloccini to Newcastle he was epic. Midfield Star Player Andres Guardado is a godsend, silkily moving down the left flank expect alot of assists, man of the match performances and a few goals banged in. On the flipside also expect an avalanche of bigger clubs trying to sign him. Try your hardest to keep him. Theres good cover for the left in the form of Riki, Latifa or Christian. Also the latter two are your primary right midfielders and are quite good at it. You centre midfeilders are sergio and verdu. Sergio is a solid vetran who will soon need replacing but looks good for a season or two. Verdu is alright but once again like alot of the team, nothing special. Your rotation here consists of Valeron, Rodríguez, Tomas, and De Guzman. All are capable of the job but not the star candidates. For defensive midfielders you want De guzman or sergio starting here with Tomas to back them up. Out of Tomas and the two DM/DC/MC's you have out on loan it looks likely that one will develop into a good DM so its worth having a look at them closely. But for the present a more solid and talented DM wouldnt go amiss. Forwards Mista and Bravo seem the best two for the job with not much between them except Mista Has better finishing and Bravo is the more physical of the two. Riki is decent cover and Bodipo is transfer listed for a reason, get him out asap. Castro out on loan isnt far from your other strikers ability and Adrian is also similar but has more years ahead of him to develop. Overall you have a set of decent strikers and back up strikers but no real Top class striker to put the goals away or a quality target man ect. Possible Targets Goalkeepers: itjande - Liverpool - Try a loan to buy Defence: Paulo Ferreira - Chelsea - If you can raise the funds 1.3mil i believe, go for it. May have trouble convincing him to sign though. Magnin - Stuttgart - 1.5 mil stings a bit, but he plays down the left and right better than your current boys. Salgado - Real Madrid - only about 350k and a good right back De Coz - Murcia Midfield: Pablo Osvaldo - Fiorentina - Should be able to loan easily for free or a small fee. Plays down both flanks and can play as a Striker. Excellent cover for all. Niko Kovac - Salzburg - Old centre midfielder, cheap and talented. Strikers: Daniel Aquino - Murcis - Real Promising 18 year old Ronaldo - Free- The man, the myth, the legend - May be past it but you cant deny he is a star striker, try him and see if you can earn his keep. Marius Niculae - Dinamo Bucharest -Great all round striker I take no oath that these are the best players for the job^^ just mearly a quick 30 minute look over to see what i could find to help. Thanks for reading and have a great time trying to bring glory back to Estadio Riazor!
