LiRiM-InSaNe
Alright everyone. My computer today decided to crap out and say that it can no longer support FM09. So I've decided to get it upgraded. I'll be getting the following system specs. 3.2 GHz processor. 4GB RAM 512 MB Graphics card. My question is, will this have optimum performance for when im playing FM09? I ask 'cos I wanna know if I need to get better or worse. Ta to anyone who answers. LiRiM-InSaNe
So will taht allow me to play with quite a few leagues for quite a long game (say 30 seasons) ?? Thanks
baker.simon
Should do. The long game thing is irrelevant, if it will play the first season with what you have loaded it will play the 101st season
MattUK
get a quadcore processor.
Guest PW
I would advise you to consider a 1024mb graphics card if you are getting that type of system. I have a very similar spec to what you have posted but have the 1024mb graphics card and the game runs really well.
LiRiM-InSaNe
Hmm. thanks PW. I might consider that. MattUK- im unsure of what the Dual or Quad types of processor types are. Coulp you explain them? Or if anyone could
Neji
If you don't play anything other than FM then don't waste the extra money on a better GPU. 512 is enough for FM.
Guest PW
Quad Core is 4 processors, Dual Core 2 (pointing the obvious I know). Basically Quad Core you would normalkly expect to be better as it has 2 more processors to use but its not quite that simple. T o cut a long story short alot of programs currently don't take advantage of multi threading and when they do normally only use 2 processors not 4 anyway (unless it is a real hardcore specialist program). Therefore sometimes it is still better to get a higher Ghz Dual Core processor system rather than a lower Ghz Quad Core system. Me personally I chose Dual Core and got a much faster Ghz processor for my money. Clear as mud huh!
Super Canaries
Well got a 3.2Ghz, Gig Ram And a 256MB Graphics card Mine runs Decent i run about 15 League's But i can't watch 3D It's laggs to much... ricki.bertolino
I've got a 2.0Ghz T5800 dual core (2Gig cache), 3Gig ram and NVIDIA 9600 GeForce 256MB. It runs without problem. The 3D is fast, and I'm running 22 leagues.

Ta to anyone who answers. it will run without any problems. you can have as many leagues as you want but i'll advise you to use DDT generator to upload all players from leagues you want. for example i uploaded all players from all european first division leagues (and some second divison) plus many major leagues from all over the world. plus i run 20 leagues from some 12 or 13 nations with huge databsae
