snortsy_23
I'm currently in charge of Man Utd, in March 1st season. Almost everythings going perfectly, 10 points clear at the top of the PL with a game in hand, won the Community Shield, Euro Super Cup, Club World Championship and Carling Cup, but there is one competition in which we have struggled in, which is the CL. Was fortunate to qualify from the group stage after picking up just one point from three games, but won the last three to go through. Drew Juventus in the 1st knockout round, and lost the first leg away 3-1. I used an unfamiliar 451 formation in that game, as opposed to my usual attacking 4231. My question is, how should I approach european games in the future, and how should I approach the second leg? I know we have got to attack, as we're trailing, but am not too sure whether to stick to my usual system, or maybe play a 433? Cheers in advance. Tejaswi
Well, what worked for me was my usual attack tactic that I employ in PL games too. You might loose the away game but you'll definitely get the away goal. You can almost beat anyone at home :|
