DB11
http://www.dan-foster.com/pictures/sign.JPG How come there is no option to approach to sign him? I am Swindon and it's the 20th July 2008. I can approach to sign other free agents though who are / were playing in England.

Arkim
Does it say he's retiring in his personal screen? And it's 2009, not 2008.

DB11
Does it say he's retiring in his personal screen? And it's 2009, not 2008. Typo Nope he isn't retiring - but he is due to play in one of those England Trialist matches so maybe that is why? I can't approach any players who are due to play in this game. transfer embargo? Nope: http://www.dan-foster.com/pictures/sign.JPGHow come there is no option to approach to sign him? I am Swindon and it's the 20th July 2008. TomHAVFC
I can't believe we (walsall) got rid of him He did so well for you aswell.
saulty2805
He did so well for you aswell. He was a good player and is doing better than our current strikers. Walsall are in trouble atm though, Neil Harris (Milwall) squared up to one of our stewards after he hit the striker, i expect some compaints to be made about todays match. BackOnTopic: What / When exactly does it tell you, you can't sign him?? Is he in one of the England Trial teams??
canvey!!
Typo Nope he isn't retiring - but he is due to play in one of those England Trialist matches so maybe that is why? I can't approach any players who are due to play in this game. I've found that as well. In that case you should probably wait until the day after the trial match and then sign him. It's probably to protect him from people swooping in before everyone sees him at the trial match.
DB11
Yep after the trial match I can now approach to sign him :) Got your own website I see? Yeah it's just about my refereeing

wyrley_saddler
Basically wait until the trialist match is over, then you'll be able to approach him
FM06Matt
has he signed for 2 different clubs that season?? Rules state u cant move 3 times
canvey!!
It was because he was in a trial match. If he had played for 2 different clubs he would have been able to sign him but not play him until the next season.
