Enjoyed it tonight. Got the result, others dropped points, decent night. Highlight was seeing Stoch fall over the ball :D. Had a vision as he was running at the Boro defence of him going past them all and scoring. Couldn't have been more wrong.

Thought we did alright, was very difficult because Boro, like Stoke, "parked the bus". Was very very difficult to break them down with the sheer number of players they had in and around the midfield. It's times like these that I wish we had real quality on the wings to stretch the opposition.

Once we had scored the first the game opened up slightly and we looked better as Boro were forced to come at us more. Thought Anelka had a good game tonight, did well on the ball although maybe playing a little deep for my liking once Drogba came on. Think we would see a different player if he PROPERLY played up top with another forward.

Still think our major problem is that our build up play is soo slow. We don't move the ball with enough pace for my liking. We really needed JT's run today to wake us up. Things like that are so very important in waking the crowd up, its a two way thing. The crowd are always expected to gee up the players but it works the other way too. A hard tackle or a great run does wonders to lift everyone although I thought there was a good atmosphere tonight.

Mikel was great imo. Thought these stats were interesting:

If we don't get one point then for us the title will be over. They will be 7 points clear and one game in hand so most probably 10 after that game.

That would mean they need to slip up four times this season, and for us to win every game. Not a HUGE chance of that happening.

We were not in the game before Lamps was sent off, so Scolari cannot use that as an excuse. He picked a poor team, and we set up too lose. So title is out of our reach now, FA Cup and CL to concentrate on, although we will do **** all in either of them.

**** basically.
