Care Free
i will be having some bets. I just play with £6 a week, and sometimes i win, sometimes i don't. I won £11 when Chelsea beat watford 3-1, would of won £18 if it was 4-1.
bridgekings
I try not to bet on Chelsea. Have two little multiples on tomorrow. One with us drawing, one with us winning. And a couple of quid on the HT 0-0.

deez0r
Super goal, could have done with taking another one of our chances/half chances but another goal I think would kill the game, longer it goes on the more nervous we will get.
Care Free
We have gone straight back to how we were playing before, only through the middle, no width, lets see if it works for Hiddink.

Care Free
Good to see Drogba actually try today, Deco poor again though, apart from that little run. Ballack was meh, overall though we won so im very happy.
deez0r
Deco was very good when he came on I thought, Ballack was awful, so far off the pace.
orion318
Looked to me like a completly different team in terms of effort today. Everybody working hard and even though it was scrappy at the end it was a superb result.
Skoolblowsme
Great result. Terrible sub to bring on Deco for Kalou, that was a Scolari sub. If anything Ballack needed to come off so we could put in a winger so Kalou could stay on one side. We had 4 center mids, I really had no idea what our shape was. kingcav
Deco was very good when he came on I thought, haha, he was atrocious. so obviously lacking confidence he looked cagey and even simple passes, if they reached their target, were poor balls and underpowered.
deez0r
tbh Deco killed time with some of his skill, Ballack was the atrocious one, needs to be dropped for a couple of games, hes been dire recently again. Be an interesting team selection against Juve.

Administrators Philip Rolfe Posted February 23, 2009 Administrators Share Posted February 23, 2009 Aziz Deen-Conteh, Rohan Ince, and Marko Mitrovic About Saturday, two performances of note: Bosingwa, who had Young tied down all game, and Kalou, who floated around and looked really, really dangerous at times in the first half. More of that please.
deez0r
Kalou is pretty good at floating around and getting into decent positions but when he gets anywhere near the opponents penalty area his final pass or shot is normally awful. Really needs to start showing his potential. Any chance of Ricky being back for Juve or Wigan?
Poyplemonkeys
I love Kalou. Really do think he gets way too much stick. Looks dangerous for us every time he plays because he has the ability to get to the byline, cut inside, or do anything really. Constantly mixes it up and keeps defenders on their toes. Like you said, only thing missing is that decision making in the final third. Reckon we'll draw 1-1 against Juve, do they still play in an empty **** stadium at home? Could help us that. I find Kalou frustrating, he has no problem beating players when dribbling but his shooting and crossing always let him down. He does pop up with important goals though
Didier
Philip, I'm moving to London next year - any hope in hell in getting a season ticket without any 'loyalty points'? Cheers, Robert.
Care Free
I should think you would be able to get a season ticket without too many problems. Rohan
bridgekings
Iirc it goes on a loyalty point basis if the club makes new season tickets available. Even if they don't they will sell the tickets of people that don't renew, which may be a fair amount in the current climate. That will also go on a loyalty point basis I imagine but it won't be all that high. So, I doubt you would be able to get one without any loyalty points but you may get lucky if loads don't renew. Administrators Philip Rolfe Posted February 23, 2009 Administrators Share Posted February 23, 2009 Last year it went right down low on points and there's rumours of a price hike, so maybe.
mag man
I just got a job in London so I am hoping I can get one to. Havent got that many loyalty points yet around 20 I think. I need to get to some more games.
bridgekings
Boo to a price hike. May be tempted to pick one up myself next season. deez0r
So team for tomorrow then, I would go for: Cech Bosingwa Cole JT Alex (assuming Ricky is still out?) Mikel Lampard Ballack Kalou Anelka Drogba So Ashley the only one coming in really. Cant see there being too much change from the Villa game.

Ricky Riccardo
Thats what I was thinking mag man I can't sleep think I'm going to skip work tomorrow and stay up from now till the game, I don't think I can sleep anyway :/ Hoping for a 1-0 but Juve are a good side, so it will be a tough match, I am really excited about Hiddink though, he will forever have a place in my heart.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPEJYRXJkGA&feature=related Never forget that day, I was in amongst the 80,
deez0r
Yeah Coventry away is quite a generous draw for us in the Cup. Although so was Barnsley last year and Burnley this year.

bridgekings
Skipped through the game this morning to see the goals. Ref was somewhat rubbish. Gave a penalty for handball when it was miles away from his arm. Also penalised Heimann for holding onto the ball for too long and they scored from the freekick.
