Tweaked
Ive just started a new season as A.Madrid and im planning on playing a 4-4-1-1 possibly changing to 4-3-2-1. Im going to play Aguero as the attacking mid pushing to forward, but i want a striker who can play alone. I know Huntelaar is good as a lone striker but was wondering how much he is going to cost me, and how i should structure the offer?
Tweaked
Sorry for the double post. But i forgot to mention im on patch 8.0.2.
theincrediblehulk
Its pot luck with Huntelaar tbh. Sometimes you can get him for a bargain price of about 15-17M. But at other times, you're looking at atleast 28-30M. Scout him and see.
theincrediblehulk
Oh, forgot to say: You can get Oscar Cardozo for cheap or even Edison Cavani for about 9M and both of them are quality. Cardozo is a brilliant TM even if he's a little slow.
Tweaked
Well i cant get Huntelaar but i was wondering can Aguero play as the lone forward, with the ball coming into feet?
AcidBurn
I have heard of people having success with Aguero as a lone striker. As hulk suggested Cavani is a great target man. Also in the second season take a look at Bianchi from Man City I got him at the beginning of the 3rd season for £12 million but he was available for a year before that. So far for my Man Utd team he has 20 goals in 18 games, great lone striker. Not sure how good he would be for you as his stats are not brilliant but Uche is good as a lone fast striker. ben5903
The most ive EVER payed for Huntelaar is £15M.
John Van Lampard
If you unsettle Huntelaar then it is easy to obtain him for around 12-15 mil. I got him for 13.5 mil for my united side.
-lewis-16-
yeah, i find Huntelaar really easy to buy actually max about 16.5m i think he is top class as well and fully worth that money if you can afford it
GavinLP1987
I got Huntelaar for 13 mill and he's so far got 12 in 25 for my man city team. How do people on here play him? He's very hit and miss for me
PrinceOfWangZi
can i know what is a target man?
T.R.O. Xipie
Depends really on your system.. I started my game with Ajax so obviously the system is designed for his skils.. 2 wingers and backs who give him crosses and an attacking midfielder who can feed him with trough balls.. He was also the targetman with balls played into his feet and with hold up ball.. no fance dribbling or other fancy stuff keep it simple.. He scored 32 goals in 32 matches in the league and had a total of 44 goals in 47 games.. Unfortunatly had to sell him too Man Utd but now after Ferguson retired I got offered the job.. So I'm intrested to see how Huntelaar will play in a 4-4-
Tweaked
Ive never tried unsettling a player. How do i go about it?
SAFCrhys_keanoFTM
I unsettled Huntelaar and got him for £5 million, season 08/09 you are all stupid for paying £16 million for him.
stevie_G_32201
14m most i ever payed for him. got him for as little at 5m once too
McGann10
There telling me 13 million and just started new game and sold saha but bojan on loan reckon i should buy him?? Would suit my formation 4-4-2 with running full backs and wide wingers...
Fortress27
ive got hime for 9 mil and 25% of next sale. only have seen him in action in europe but hes down well scoring twice in the two legged 2 round qualifying. good luck!
McGann10
Tevez just got injured, 2 months out i can get carlos vela for 20 Mil or huntellar for 13 Mil ?? what you guys think ??
jstein1967
Aguero can easy play up front alone - i usually try and buy him for my lone forward role. Buy matias fernandez as your attacking mid and youll be sorted, forget K-J!
kel-9
sign vela as imo he is the better player and is younger so will improve
The Havok
Why not give Fred a try? He performed well in a 4-2-3-1 (2 wingers and an AM behind the striker) and bagged just over 50 goals in two seasons in the EPL. He should cost about £15m.
stgahoy
Always about £12~13M at start of the season.
Romario
Ive found, that as soon as they game loads up, If you put in £10M Upfront straight away, 9times out of 10 it will get accepted, and also say it he askeds for £50K a week in wages, you can get it down to 30-35K per week too.
