Ando THFC
Much nicer for me. Wouldn't dream of going back to 9.1, I think the whole thing was a pretty much a disaster zone under that patch.

peter-evo
If you are playing windowed, try clicking the task bar but not on a program (so Football Manager is not focussed on) and that made it really smooth for me, atleast for 3D.
137
i have tried windowed and full window, same. what's wrong i use apple

Boaz_Myhills_Left_Glove
I have been playing for a couple of hours and the match engine is MUCH better. The pre-match load is virtually non-existant for me now, the ball movement is less stuttery and I can run medium quality smoothly. With the last patch, even low quality struggled to run smoothly. Very well done to SI
Greg0r
A lot smooth for sure and it seems to look better (that might jsut be the uber smoothness of it now though)
eaglealan64
No difference in the 3-D view but the match engine is much better.

phnompenhandy
Wow, what a diversity of experiences! In a sticky that's just gone up SI recommend unticking 'threading' in preferences for a smoother 3D experience.
lee50_11
seems a little better to me but it ran fine in the 1st place
CPS
Wow, what a diversity of experiences! In a sticky that's just gone up SI recommend unticking 'threading' in preferences for a smoother 3D experience. Apologises for my ignorance, but what does 'threading' actually do? phnompenhandy
Threading is supposed to make dual core processors process the game much more quickly. Dunno how much effect it really has; I'm no teccie myself.

Super Bladesman
The one thing that really makes my 3D stutter is when my anti-virus software scan kicks in.

samuelburrowsuk
It's much better for me, actually. I am seeing better player animations now, or at least a slightly more variety of them are being displayed. Mine now loads up in less than 2 seconds, previously it was between 15 and 20 seconds for the first 3D clip to load - I'm so happy with this improvement! Can't say I've noticed a huge difference in the quality of the graphics, but they havent got any worse for me. Thanks SI.
N^G
Mine is quite blurry compared to 9.1 even when putting the graphic detail setting to high. Its a bit annoying really as both 9.1 and 9.2 have been smooth for me in terms of performance.
Crayons
A lot worse for me on a MAC, used to be really smooth but is now all jittery so I have to watch it in low quality.
Coach_casa
I am thinking of re-installing the whole game and going back to 9.1. Can this be done? One of the reasons I love this game is the 3d view. However, on my Mac, in 9.2 it doesn't so much stutter, as just skips during play. It's almost unbearable for me to watch and I don't want to have to go back to the old 2D view. Not that it was perfect in 9.1, but the 3D was pretty smooth. Not any more. I just don't understand why a company is going to put out an update that has so many people having problems. I would rather wait and have a good update. By the way, before someone asks, I have enough power on my Macbook to run the game effectively, and am running system 10.5.5 with 4GB of RAM and a 2.4 GHz Intel processor. I also have a graphics card that is capable of handling this game.
