They provide patches fast? I'm also reading people complaining that they didn't want to install the patch but that Steam installed it anyway? I prefer to have control over what occurs on my PC and Steam doesn't help me achieve that goal. You do have control. You can turn off Steam's automatic updating as far as I am aware.
