Dave the Rave Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 I'm coming to the end of season 2 with newcastle and the legend that is Shay Given is begining to lose his edge. I've bid for Akinfeev (£20m) and Neuer(sp)(£12m) but have had all bids rejected, who is good enough to replace Shay and what should i be spending. Zellix Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 Enyeama is a good cheap replacement. Ustari is good too and inexpensive although, at least on my games, he isn't as good as on FM07. Personally I think Lloris is a great keeper and go with him (cost me about £12.25 million). Frey is good to. Ochoa from Mex, Tim Weise, Felipe, Rensing. The ones already suggest too.
