I will assign you a nation(which will be from the bottom of the world rankings to save on time), once you have this nation I will change every club that produces players of your nation ie, change the city of origin of each club in your nation....except one team which you will choose. Basically the team you choose becomes a feeder to your national team since no other club can produce players of your nationality. We will be using the Dutch league so I will need 38 teams: 18 Premier Division, 20 First Division, that are assigned randomly. 1. Neurospasm - Cayman Islands - First Division 2. corinthiano Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 No problem, I always anted to do a experiment in which I put clubs from FIFA Affiliated Nations with the lowest reputation in the editor into a league system and see how they develop. I find the South Korean league system good as well as it only has 26-28 teams and there is a restriction on foreigners that means players from the specific nation must be played! You could swap South Korea with a European League, so that the clubs get to play in Europe... I also transferred the best 22 players from that nation to the club, these could make the difference at the start. However I think starting with a no players database will solve this as clubs will not be signing many players as they shouldn't be overly better than the ones they already have. To add a little bit of individualism and a bit of work, I'm going to let everyone name their team whatever they would like as well, so you can start thinking of good names now or you can wait till you see what nation you will get(recommended). neurospasm Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share Posted January 5, 2009 Ok guys everything seems to work at least through a season...I've decided what I'm going to do is the following: Start with the Dutch leagues, Premier Division has 18 teams, First Division has 20. To assign everyone to the divisions I will use a random number generator. Don't worry about being in the lower division it has been set to have the reputation of the Spanish First Division = 19, while the Premier Division has a reputation of 20. Both Dutch cups have a reputation of 20. All of your teams are going to have a reputation of 1 to start, along with your nations. What this should do is as your feeder team gets better, and attracts the best coaches, your nations players should get better(seeing how your team will have a large amount of them each season). With your nations players being better you will be able to win more games at the international level raising your nation's reputation! Every team's balance will be 0 to start, with each team getting a stadium that starts with a capacity which equals the average of all Dutch Premier League teams. I will start all team records from scratch so that we can track Best Results, Best Players throughout time. In addition, I will leave a bit of secrecy involved as I'm going to use Genie Scout to see who the best player is(by current ability) and who the best potential player is, and just tell you guys the nations that these players are from.
