Force Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 So, hope I can explain this well enough. Basically, I've downloaded numerous skins and the colours of the font isn't as it should be, the font colour is staying as it is in the default FM09 skin. Hope someone can help. If needed, I will upload some screenshots of my game to show exactly what I mean. Thanks Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Force Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share Posted January 5, 2009 Found something. Thanks Edit: Tried deleting cache etc but still same. People in the FAQ forum have white font, but mine is black/green which is impossible to read on the skins I've downloaded.. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
arsenal_2111 Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Go to Sports Interactive > FM09 > skins > Your skin > settings > colours. The second block of coding should be: <!-- default text colours --> <colour name="darkened text" red="200" green="200" blue="200" alpha="128"/> <colour name="menu" red="255" green="255" blue="255"/> <colour name="menu selected" red="255" green="255" blue="40"/> <colour name="tree selected" red="255" green="255" blue="100" /> <colour name="tree hilight" red="255" green="255" blue="0" /> <colour name="control" red="240" green="240" blue="240"/> <colour name="text" red="255" green="255" blue="255"/> <colour name="hint" red="248" green="248" blue="248"/> <colour name="title" red="248" green="248" blue="248" /> <colour name="html" red="248" green="248" blue="248" /> <colour name="html_hyperlink" red="255" green="192" blue="20" /> The line 7 down is 'text', change the values in that and the colour of the font will/should change colour. If other parts of the skin are the wrong colour then change around the other values, see what changes colours. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Force Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share Posted January 5, 2009 For people trying to help, I'm not having the issue where the font in the default skin is white. My issue is.. skins I've downloaded use the font that's used in the original FM one. Edit: Fixed. My HDD is partitioned and for convenience I changed 'User Data' folder to where I'd installed it on my E:\ drive. Reset it back to default and placed skin in folder in My Docs and worked.
