kevl84
Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I was wondering if any of your experienced heads can help me. After finding these forums I read about the challenge with managing Luton and thought that it might be a fun way to get into the game. Things are currently going quite well, my team is winning and I'm doing well in the league and the FA cup, but I'm not playing well. I've only had 2 games were the fans liked it (rated as good rather than ok) and more often than not I'm struggling for chances and just managing to scrape a 1 goal win. It's the same whether I'm playing 3rd in my league or a Blue Square Premier team in the cup. One of the things I think I'm struggling with is possession, and my assistant manager keeps telling me that "there appears to be too much of a gap between defence and midfield" I've started playing a DMC and no matter how I set him up I still get the message. Any ideas how to overcome this? Thanks in advance
Death.
My experience has been to make sure the mentality setting between defence/midfield/attack isn't too much. Do that and the ass. manager should keep quiet.
Noel Gallagher
Death is right, it will be a consequence of your players mentalities. What have you got them set to?
higgins
The main problem with these feedbacks from your ass. manager is they're quite useless, if I'm playing well I simply ignore them.
