CrashOverride
Im presuming your Laptop has a DVD drive? Can you play other DVD's in it? Does the DVD work in other machines?
bigdunk
If you installed using UniLoc, it's under Start->Games. If you used steam, go to c:\program files\steam\streamApps\common\Football Manager 2009 (or something like that).
ftg87
Start -> Programs -> Games -> Games Explorer For some reason that didn't set up properly when I installed the game To find the exe that launches the game, go to C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 then right click on fm and then choose Send to > Desktop(create shortcut), you will now have a shortcut on the desktop you can use to run FM EDIT: Forgot about Steam, use bigdunk's advice in that case

Septimus
Believe it or not... FM09 is not there.... :| You computer has a CD Drive and cannot recognise DVDs. That why you can't see the disk in the drive. You'll need to upgrade.
