taz0711
Im currently managing Portsmouth, 5th in the league after 26 games, Scored 56 goals in the league, so not to bad on that side of things. My main problem is how many goals I let in, so far I have let in 40 goals in the league, and I haven’t had a clean sheet for my last 12 games! Just wondered if anyone can give me any advice, to strengthen the defensive aspects of my side. To give you bit more info here is who I play at the back David James (Gk) Glen Johnson (RB) Thiago Silva (CD) Sylvain Distin (CD) Nadir Belhadji (LB) All of their averages are +7.0 Many Thanks

Xs
Maybe add the formation you're playing. Since you're scoring quite a lot of goals i bet you play an offensive tactic. This obviously can result in more goals conceded. There are loads of details which can make your tactic more solid, for instance: - Reduce width (especially in away games) - Try playing in a lower tempo - Try lowering the mentality of some (or all) players. - Maybe drop a MC more to the DMC position (Anchor man). - Reduce forward runs - Use other players etc ...
