fofos
I usually have my assistant attend the press conference since I find them repetative and boring. In the last one I had just been knocked out from the first round of League cup and my assistant felt absolutely delighted. Weird huh! Bug??
mark wilson27
maybe he is delighted because he wants your job
Mike7077
The problem is that you can only give one answer. It's possible to be delighted with the effort put in but disappointed to have been knocked out. But you can only pick one option.

Mike7077
There are any number of reasons why someone might say they are pleased after a defeat. I've explained one, and robertlangman has given a good example. The problem is that press conferences don't allow for any elaboration. The most you can say is that you are delighted/pleased/disappointed etc..
Wee Aja
Saying disappointed could upset multiple players if they had indeed played well and were just unlucky in defeat.
