Piotr Sebastian
Did U mention any relation between GK's attribute "command of area" and the way the defence establish a wall during free-kicks. Communication and teamwork works well in these cases, but "command of area"? Never heard! I.e. Wrexham GKs Anthony Williams (command - 5, communication - 16). He establish walls very well i remember. Do U know the answer?
jod123
Do you want to know what command of area means? If so this is what it means: "This affects how incharge a goalkeeper is of his penalty area. The higher this attribute the more likely he will come to punch the ball clear or collect crosses." Piotr Sebastian
But in polish instruction included in the game state clearly that also "how well he organise his defence and establish the walls" (page 33). I didn't mention it during the game. SO, who has a right?
jod123
In the English instruction manual it says how they take charge of situations and how they like to control their penalty area so coming for crosses and so on fall into that category. A goalkeeper with a low command of area will leave a lot more for his defenders to deal with.
Piotr Sebastian
Thanks. And what about your experience with this attribute in the game and with establish the walls?
jod123
I never take much notice of my keeper establishing the walls although I think communication would play a bigger part.
