Well i thought i would create this thread simply because i havn't seen a useful thread been created yet. A few days ago i was hoping to find some good players to purchase on football manager 2009 however i could only find a handful eventhough i read through numerous threads.

I will apologize if this thread causes problems for administrators, as i know lots of people create threads that have already been created by other people. I have also searched around the forum to see if anyone has created one similar to mine and i was unable to locate one.

The players that are named below are specifically for the 9.2.0 DATABASE

If your wondering why the players that i have named are specifically aimed at the 9.2.0 database then its simple. When football manager release a patch they often change alot of players and staffs potential ability. Players that are in the origional and the 9.1.0 or even the 9.3.0 database that will be released soon, may have different stats to the players that i have named below.

p.s. - If you are unsure what database that you are currently using in your game then load your saved game up and click on options in the top right hand corner then click game status. It will list your database right next to where it says 'Version'.

Sofiane Feghouli not mentioned? Easily one of the brightest stars in 9.2.0. Nice opener, although perhaps a lot of them are well known but good start/nice work.

Yes i agree. I also forgot to mension that there are alot of players not mensioned on this thread, its just that there are too many to name

however i do agree that Feghouli is a fantastic player

Surnam from Southampton is a good en... scores goals as well... although only tried out in Championship so far... plyd 39 scored 10 with 20 assists in one season... not bad for a left back as far as I'm concerned... he can play left wing as well, but not as effective, might have been my tactics but had McSheffrey there and he played just as well, Surnam seems to be better at left back!

Also had Ben Amos on loan from the mighty champions of the world and he kept clean sheets in the 10 games he played.

Had Joe Lewis as number one goalkeeper... his ratings shoot up when you play him regurlaly got Premiership teams sniffing around offering £3-4million for him.

Miles Addison as well from Derby... play him regurlaly and his ratings rise... when first signed him (admittedly off the back of his displays for Derby against United in the Carling Cup) my assistant said not worthwhile signing... now after a full season (my main CB got long term injury) he's a fantastic prospect!

  • 2 weeks later...

Aidy white from Leeds is a quality left back. Also jonny howson is a quality centre mid on 9.2.0. Scout say he is good player for prem sides. Also a lad called mascio from cisco roma an amazing centre mid. (found him in brazil first team. HONEST). And fabian delph amazing player.
