Matt8
Is there any particular reason that Spurs dont get any transfer budget at all on the new patch? Even if you say you are going to win the league...
Chris Ritchie
Presumably due to the signings of Defoe, Keane and Palacios.
Glenn Wakeford
Probably because they have spent a lot of money this season on players and the board are unwilling to put more money in for players.
Goals53
As above, i started a game last night got worried and then realised that they bought three players for a big amount of money
Brads-Wigan
so therefore does that mean Wigan will have a large transfer budget on 9.0.3 after the sale of Palacios and Heskey??
welshy2686
so therefore does that mean Wigan will have a large transfer budget on 9.0.3 after the sale of Palacios and Heskey?? Nope 6 Million for avoiding the drop.
Crpls
Heskey only brought in, what, 3.5m anyway? Palacios got more, but remember they brought in a few players as well.
armann99
I can see why the transfer budget nothing for spurs but what I dont understand is why the transfer budget for chelsea has gone from 25-30m in the 9.2.0 patch to 12m in this patch? I mean they sold bridge 12m and bought no one.
Administrators Neil Brock Posted February 27, 2009 Administrators Share Posted February 27, 2009 I can see why the transfer budget nothing for spurs but what I dont understand is why the transfer budget for chelsea has gone from 25-30m in the 9.2.0 patch to 12m in this patch?I mean they sold bridge 12m and bought no one. Because of the current financial climate and the fact Roman has made it clear he's less willing to invest heavily into the transfer market.
Stevicus
I think Wigan recieved 14 million for the sale of Palacios, and 3.5 for heskey, i imagine the board would want to keep as much money in the bank as possible, lets face it, Wigan aren't exactly rolling in it. As for tottenham, i would sell pavluychenko, there is a lot of strikers there now, maybe terminate Campbells loan.
