theres only one ALI DIA!
I'm so angry, I think someone at 25 Soho Square has it in for me! Look at this goal, CLEARLY offside: Even my RB says it was offside: A journalist thinks it was controversially given, which I agree with: Then the FA come out and warn me, fair enough, but also try and say replays show the goal was onside? Eh??? OK, rant over : )
Guest
Who scored the goal? If it was the bloke on the ball after a shot from distance then it was a fair goal.
tottenham2k7
yeh if hopper scored its perfectly fine
mackemforever
I assume he means that the goal was scored by the wokington player in the centre circle. The guy who is offside by a country mile
bollekewol
well... not fun to lose by an off-side goal, real or not... but that's the game! Every week there are games with goals made from off-side or after a nasty tackle or whatever. If it's indeed offside, good for SI to get some realism in it, no? Granted, I would probably smash the screen out of anger if it happened to me.
theres only one ALI DIA!
I guess I didn't explain it very well after re-reading my OP. Probably because I was so angry whilst typing it lol. The above screenshot is point where Hopper played through ball which Johnston (nearest to camera of 3 in box) received and the Johnston scored from inside the box. Look! Yeah I agree I don't mind it happening from time to time in the game, happens IRL it would be very unrealistic if every decision was correct. Its more the FA warning me and having the nerve to say ''replays have shown it was perfectly legitimate'' that left me
DanGLiverpool
Yeah the FA sometimes have little idea on what is legit and what is not, suppose the same could be said for real life.
the toon
lol that's funny! When i first saw the picture i was trying to work out who is actually the attacking team, those 3 reds players looks like a defence-line! And they are the attacking team! Orion Dean
It seems the Goalkeeper played them onside!

theres only one ALI DIA!
Is this game/match pre 9.3.0? Nope its on 9.3.0 Don't think its because of any patch or a bug mind, just a (REALLY REALLY REALLY) bad decision by the linesman/ref.
Marz
Nope its on 9.3.0Don't think its because of any patch or a bug mind, just a (REALLY REALLY REALLY) bad decision by the linesman/ref. I really hope its down to the standard of referring in that division (maybe needs a tweak). But still seems strange as in situations like that the attacking player who (not in this instance) normally times his run well gets penalised by linesmen just because there are 2+ team-mates clearly offside even before a pass. fm_macuser
Did it take a deflection on the way through? Otherwise it looks as dodgy a decision as they come alright! In reality, it isnt often that the FA come out and say the ref messed up, so I guess their stance is realistic sadly...
derrickr
Erm, maybe its just me, but i dont think its such a clear cut decision as everyone else feels The defender at the top of the box is moving out, while Johnson is running the opposite way, so its a split second decision by the linesman as the ball is played in. As the other strikers dont touch the ball, they could be construed as not interfering with play? I still think he looks offside, but i would say its marginal......or maybe i need to get to specsavers :)
JimbobWWFC
just a (REALLY REALLY REALLY) bad decision by the linesman/ref. That's why they are officiating a game between Workington and Gateshead (no offence to the two teams, but you know what I mean)
