Jimmyt
Is there a way to improve your penalty taking and saving? Over the last few seasons I've lost every penalty shootout I've had. I don't think I've seen my 'keeper make a save. Does the 'penalty taking' attribute mean anything, as my top rated player, with 16, has missed three on the trot now. Diegas
I think composure has smth to do with scoring penalties. No idea about keepers though, but my shootouts often go to smth like 9-8... so if anyone has ideas about keepers, please, share.
James8
Scoring penalties in shootouts is influenced by the hidden 'Pressure' attribute. Some years ago I used an editior to select my takers based on this along with penalty taking and composure - I had very good results too. Now it is possible to look for indications of a player's pressure rating via the coach reports and other means. The following are taken from Lyssien's Player Personalities guide and give an indication of the Pressure attribute. Selecting players with favourable personalities in shootout situations should see you fortunes improve. Good luck! Iron Willed: Pressure = 20 & Determination > 14 Jovial: Pressure > 14 & Temperament > 9 Light-Hearted: Sportsmanship > 14 & Pressure > 14 & Determination > 9 & Temperament > 9 Low Self-Belief: Pressure = 2-3 & Determination < 10 Model Citizen: Determination > 17 & Ambition > 17 & Loyalty > 17 & Pressure > 17 & Professionalism > 17 & Temperament > 17 & Sportsmanship > 17 Resilient: Pressure = 17-19 & Determination > 14 Spineless: Pressure = 1 & Determination < 10 Spirited: Pressure > 14 & Professionalism = 15-17 & Temperament >
