outlaw640
Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Not sure why it is naming a sweeper in the formation when the player doesn't play in that position for his club. Cockney Hammer
I have never seen that mate. Its always been a normal 4-4-2 on all my games.
outlaw640
Yeah that's what I thought. Any russian league regulars in here tonight?

pyewackett
Not played in Russia, often 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 in my experiance. Normally play teams in the UK. Maybe it's based on the National Team for the nation your playing in.
pyewackett
Hmmm checking the Russia Squad on my game save they are just are playing a stabdard flat 4-4-2, maybe that guy just plays superbly as a sweeper. Maybe even a hiddden stat. Never seen Sweeper show up on the team of the week, have played abroad such as in the Ukrain, and South America.

outlaw640
It was a poorly conceived joke on my part.
x42bn6
Is it even possible to play a formation like that in real life?! I can see it getting trashed around, with all the space between centre-back and full-back, even if you have Stoke City's pitch...
yNnOs
Have a Dinamo Moscow save and can safely say i have never seen it!
tigerhgrrrrrr
In France we get different formations, not had sweeper variant though. How does it select the formation? I would have expected a flat 442 maybe going to diamond if a pure DMC or AMC was a real star that week.
PhroX
In China, where I'm playing atm, the TotW is always a narrow 4-3-1-2 (ie 3 MCs, 1 AMC). Which means that, no matter how well they play, pure wingers never get into it. On top of that, I've got a couple of players who are D/DM/MC. They always play as MC (they have single figure jumping, so I'm not putting them in the centre of defence except in emergencies), yet quite often go in the TotW as DCs.
