LJ_
I am looking to sign a backup striker for my team. My offers of 10.75M and 5.75M for Milevsky and Lavezzi respectively have been accepted by their clubs, now i am torn apart as to who i should get. I normally play in a 4-1-2-2-1 formation and i am looking for a reliable backup striker. Milevsky may be more expensive but he is a much better finisher, whereas Lavezzi's less-than 6M offer is too tempting for me. I don't think i can sign both since i already got two strikers. Who would you sign if you were me?
theincrediblehulk
Depends on what kinda player you want (or what kinda players you have really). Lavezzi is very good and is ideal if you wanna hit teams on the counter. His pace will definitely cause problems. Milvesky is not slow by any means but his strength is his greatest asset. He's very useful if you want him to hold the ball up and bring others into play. Depending on how your other strikers are (ie, fast striker or target men), make a decision. Milvesky is by far the better pure striker of the two though. And next time, post in the Should I Buy/Sell Thread.
