RICHY-T
Right im in BSN, where is it more profitable to host friendlies? Big clubs at home or away? Im guessing away? Cheers
ahmufcwafc
If you arrange an away friendly, you won't get any of the gate receipts. You need to be invited to a friendly to get any money out of an away fixture. Even then, you still mightn't be offered any money.

SOYNEGRO
I think the most profitable option is to host a tourney with teams of the top divisions.
gentlemanjames
If you request parent clubs, you can have friendlies with them. In these agreements it is usually the feeder club (i.e you) who will keep 100% of gate reciepts.

Clubs in England are NOT allowed to be feeder clubs by the FA.

Stevicus
Is there any reason why it's allowed in FM? I find that very odd. I gues its one of those useful but unrealistic features of the game. Would be a shame to take it out, the very foundation of my managing of low league tams has been my parent and feeder clubs.
rhacer
Is there any reason why it's allowed in FM? I find that very odd. Probably because it's easier to leave it in globally than to remove it for the few nations where it is not allowed. (All the Home Countries and Germany). spurz123
I think they exist as 'gentlemens agreements'; Spurs have thire reserves at Orient, Orient host an annual friendly between us and we loan them a lot of players.
