All-Nighter Thread!! [Player Naming]

Pretty good deals you got there mate!

Im in my first season as Madrid manager and won the cop del rey with a 3-2 win over Barca and just this minute i won the league after 37 games. A scrappy 1-0 home win against Xerez won me the title and was johnny evans who scored the goal he has been a fantastic buy. Rauls going to start the last game of the sseason wil be his last game for madrid as i feel its time to move on and i want younger players at madrid even though raul is a legend :(

Ah i hate that feeling and suppose you have all that money aswell you just want to spend!

And hello Grecian :)

Bit uncertain about this so need a bit of help.....................

Alexandre Pato has agreed to join my Liverpool side on a free transfer, (he fell out with the Milan boss some time ago and his contract has run down), but last season Fernando Torres and Alvaro Negredo formed such a good partnership. I also have Ruben Rochina who is only 21 and chipped in with some goals last term.

Should I bring in Pato and rotate the three of the strikers, or stick with the partnership that delivered Liverpool their first league title in 22 years?

EDIT - You can't let Raul go, that's blasphemy!

And plus hes quality i would get him if i were you what happens if torres gets badly injured ? Pato can easily step up and be as good come on you know it makes sense ;)

Just won my last game of the season 2-0 away at Athletic. Raul on his last game should of scored a couple of times but still got a rating of 7.1 so not a bad last game. ANother plus out of that game was Babel coming on and terrorising the Athletic defence looking forward to him playing more of a part in my team next season.

Looking forward ot next season and buying even more quality players.

Have decided to bring him in. It has thankfully not resulted in any of my other forwrds becoming unhappy, and has provoked good responses from current players, former players, and the fans. It has also seen shirt sales boosted.

Seems pretty good so far, but just wait until January when he or someone else is unhappy at a lack of football - I'll blame you lot then :(

Of course I'm moaning, my love child, (Alvaro Negredo), has been so good for me at Sevilla and now Liverpool, and it will probaby be him that is rotated the most. :(

is Negredo really that good?

having a small striking at arsenal with only Bojan scoring goals and might need to shake things up (although have Henry re-joining for £750k) :**)

His stats are nothing spcial, rather a jack of all trades than a specialist at anything. But he has performed brilliantly for me with Sevilla and now Liverpool. Will gladfully post some screenies if you want?

if you can then that would be great thanks :)

Need abit of help. Iv got 2 English centre back regens who are world class. I also have Sakho. Hes 29 now worth £31mill. He does get the odd game, league cup or when my other 2 are tired but Im thinking of selling him to get some money in. I have another centre back whos english and 20 and hes a decent back up.

depends on how good these world class english CBs look like and how good the back up compares to Sakho

No problem. I haven't bothered uploading a screenie of season one as he didn't play loads due to me having Luis Fabiano and Frederic Kanoute as my first choice partnership at Sevilla. In that season he managed 12 goals from 37 appearances, with 8 assists.

After the first season Luis Fabiano was sold to Aston Villa for £20million, and I was pretty uneasy about using Negredo as Kanoute's partner, so I brought in Goran Pandev. Early season injuries to both Kanoute and Pandev left the door open for Negredo, and he hasn't looked back!

Sevilla - Season 2

Sevilla - Season 3

The deal to get him to Liverpool was a straight swap with Gokhan Inler, and that proved to be a pretty good deal!

Liverpool - Season 1

And finally this is his current profile. Like I said, a pretty rounded player, without being excelling at anything inparticular.

Good. I'm playing around with formations at the moment. Have tried the 4-1-2-1-2 and now using a variation of the 4-2-2-2 which the game dubs 4-2-4. Beat our reserves 5-0, beat Bochum 5-0 (where Vela scored 4 goals) and now beating Boreham Wood 9-0 (Bendtner with 5 goals so far!). I've signed an Argentine centre back called Otamendi who has incredible physical stats for £2.1M, and am currently in the market for a DM and RW seeing as how I sent Barazite and Wilshere on loan.

Vela and Barazite have been downgraded PA wise, but Merida, Lansbury, Murphy, Freeman, Afobe and Gibbs all have had improvements in that department. Van Persie and Arshavin are rated as "qaulity" players and Cesc reatains his FM09 standard. All in all, shold be a fun half season.

I hope Wilshere has a good loan spell at Palace on mine. I have a feeling he's going to turn out great on FM10.

I'm happy that my prediction about Edin Dzeko came true though. I predicted on the Arsenal thread that he'd be one of the most improved players on FM10 and he looks brilliant. Man Utd have a £17.5M bid accepted on mine.

Not bad at all. How much would it cost for a permanant move?

As for my dealings, I'm about to sign Victor Moses. Would be "useful", apparently, which is what I want. Also have someone called Guarente coming in soon. All that's left is a goalkeeper.

think he's listed for £7.5m... agreed a loan (£1.1m fee) with an option for permanent for another £6.5m

Chelsea have Cassano on mine as well. And Iaqunita.

Man Utd signed Guissepe Rossi, Antonio Di Natale and someone youngster called Navina, I think. What's with all these Italians coming to the Prem (ignoring the fact that I'm about to sign an Italian)?

yeah, Man Utd signed Mutu and Di Natale on mine... not sure if them spending about £30m on two players both aged 30+ is terribly realistic... might throw a bug report in on that...

lol, just managed to pick up Sessegnon, on a deal I think I'm going to still be paying off when I die... My team is now utterly unbalanced, but with an impressive array of midfield talent...

Arteta, Pienaar, Bilyaletdinov, Beckham, Cahill, van der Vaart, Sessegnon, Rodwell, Fellaini

:D

I have just started my arsenal game!!

And is this on the fm 10 demo or back to 09 ?

this is on the demo... used the spread payments over 48 months option for Sessegnon... hence the part about paying off til i die

EDIT: extra cash came from selling Hibbert for £4m to Sunderland btw...
