JulianStark
It _is_ possible for a player to become a natural in a trained position. See the screenshot of Adam Lallana (of Southampton) below. He starts of as a AMC, but I set his new position as ST and now he's a natural in that position as well. http://img26.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lallananatural.jpg Bit weird, but hey, I'm not complaining
CaptainPlanet
Yes it is possible. And can be backed up by many real life cases
hamilton162
He will be listed as natural, but you have to keep re-training him in that position otherwise he will gradually decrease in ability in that position
JulianStark
IMHO the whole idea of being able to train a player into becoming a natural defeats the purpose of being a natural. Perhaps it's just semantics... I seem to recall statements on this board that it wasn't possible to train a player into a natural position, so I thought I'd post some proof to the contrary. DiscoStu94
I've done it with Denilson and Song, it works if the player is already accomplished in the position you want to retrain him into.

Perhaps it's just semantics... I know where people are coming from when they say this - but seeing that a position on a football field isnt' something you're born with "natural" is the wrong word. Someone who is listed as Natural as a midfield will be because that's the position he's been made to play in as a kid growing up, either through personal preference or a coach putting him there. It's no different later on, so it's still possible for somone to be trained into being "Natural" at a different position from their teenage years. There are too many famour players to mention that played in a different position at academy level than they do "Naturally" play now.
Yonezzz
One of my players went from accomplished to natural simply by playing him in that position. Was pretty pleased about that tbh.
hamilton162
Yeah, playing the player in question in the position that you are re-training him in makes this process quicker as well, forgot about that

Out of interest, what position did you train these two to?
