freddo21
I'm in BSP, but my training is hurting me because my team's still semi-pro. When does the board usually upgrade?
JBauerisGod
My team (Hampton & Richmond) stayed Semi-Pro until I got into Coca-Cola League 2. The chairman thought that it was finally time to make the team professional once I got promoted.
hamilton162
Usually in League 2, but depends on the stature of the club and your chairman
CrashOverride
When you get promoted to L2 you have to become a professional team. It takes a decent amount of money to turn a club pro that the board often wont do this until absolutley neccessary. Dont know what happens when you get relegated though. I managed to win the BSP play offs with a semi pro team and am now in the CCC a few years later.
stevio11
Stupid really as most BSP teams are full time these days and this should be in the game.
CrashOverride
Stupid really as most BSP teams are full time these days and this should be in the game. If a club are full time IRL then they are full time in the game. The club I got promoted had started in the BSN hence the semi-pro status in my case. You may still be able to give your coaches and players F/T contracts, I did that on FM2008. That should help with your training problem.
