Interesting concept.
I'm not the biggest fan of video updates so I'll just ask, is there a search filter you can use to meet criteria to sign players or do you check them case-by-case?
Unfortunately not. I just check them manually. My scouts recommend players so I check those too and I look at players released by non-league clubs each summer too.

Nice! Managed Balzers in FM20 as part of the Liechtenstein Challenge with club and country. Won the Europa Conference league (4?) times with Balzers, the Europa League twice and got to the Champions League quarter final. Got the national team to within 1 game of qualifying for Euro 2036 but missed out
Good luck, I love Balzers!

In part 11 we take a look at what seems to be some shoots of recovery at the club. After a less than impressive start to the season we are moving in the direction and play promotion chasers Dartford. There are a couple of new faces at the club and a few departures to cover as well as a worsening financial situation.

In Part 10 there is HUGE news! Have we been sacked? Did we win promotion? Did we get relegated? Has there been a player revolt? Have we been taken over by a wealthy Russian?

In part 9 we have arguably the toughest game we will play in season 3 as we go away from home to play the table toppers, Notts County. Before that we take you through the new tactic that we have employed and the thinking behind it and touch on a couple of new signings.

In this video I aim to bring you 20 players that hopefully are completely new to you. All of these players cost less than £1.5 million with many of them costing you NOTHING! We have every position covered in this list so if you need a player, hopefully I can help.
This list is not obvious candidates like Thiago Almada or Giovani Reyna, these are undiscovered, hidden gems within the game to help with your team!

In part 8 we kick off season 3 away to Stockport County. Before that we take a look at the rocky road that was season 2, the new signings we have made and an encouraging youth intake! There is lots to be positive about at Wealdstone FC!

In part 7 of this FM21 challenge we take a look at the recent form which has not been up to the recent high standards. We do have a new signing to get excited about and a potentially bright youth intake on the horizon.
As we continue to chase a playoff spot we play against Havant & Waterlooville at home!

In part 6 of this FM21 challenge there is plenty to be feeling good about with the team sitting in the playoffs at the mid way point of season 2. However, with a recent habit of conceding late goals and some cracks starting to appear, it could be a tough game against struggling Woking.

It's part 5 and its the opening game of season 2! In this episode we take a look at how season one finished, the financial situation at the club, our youth intake and the signings we have made to prepare us for the new campaign!
We then cap it off with our first competitive fixture of season 2 at home. Can we start with 3 points?

It's part 4 and it's Easter 2021 and as we approach the end of the first season, it is all to play for at Wealdstone FC. The season has been a positive one so far but do we have what it takes to sustain it until the very end?
In part 4 we play at home to relegation threatened Weymouth, we take a look at a little bit of transfer activity and discuss whose contracts are up in the summer!

In Part 3 we take a look at some topsy turvy form from Wealdstone FC in the Vanarama National before playing a league match against Sutton United where we hope to start the new year with a bang.
We also take a look at two new loan signings and a surprising financial situation.

It's part two and the overhaul is making big progress. All players who joined Wealdstone FC from a football league club have been released or sold and we have signed only players from non-league clubs.
In this episode we take a look at the transfer activity, the financial situation and play an FA Cup 1st Round match at home to Hartlepool United.

You want some? I'll give it to ya!
So my first save of FM21 is Wealdstone FC and in the spirit of making things difficult for myself... as I like to do. I have set myself a transfer rule that will remain in place for the whole save.
I can only sign players from the English non-league system! 11 Jamie Vardy's? Let's hope so.
I have gone with Wealdstone for a few reasons... 1. Semi-pro team in a league with lots of professional teams (difficult? check) 2. Second smallest stadium in the league (reduced revenue? check) 3. Newly promoted team (more difficulty? check!)
The first Youtube video of the series explains the rules of the save in a bit more detail and takes a first look at the squad and the players we have to sell due to not complying with this rule.
The simple version is this...I can only sign players and staff from English non-league clubs or free agents providing that their last permanent club was a non-league club.
Let's see how high up the pyramid we can get!

I like your logic , I'll give them a try
haha I just like my FM saves to be a challenge. One of my gripes with the game in the last few years is that it has got too easy. I usually impose rules on myself to try and make it difficult. Can't stand saves where I just win every match

Alright I think i'm gonna narrow it down to Vitesse, Genk, Southampton, St. Gallen (my FIFA team) and Schalke. What do y'all think now?
Sorry for those suggesting PSV, I like the idea of having Götze there but for the rest the team seems rather drab to me. I dunno why.Schalke are pretty terrible in real life right now so that might be cool.
Amine Harit and Suat Serdar are two very good players and you have the young Rabbi Matondo there.

Help me decide (I'm going for League One this year): Portsmouth, Lincoln, Bristol Rovers or Northampton?
Northampton are pretty bad, go for them. Portsmouth will be too easy

Alright guys, so i'm also in need in figuring out what team to start with. I'll run with the Dutch, Belgian, English, German, and Swiss leagues for certain and would prefer to try a team that's in the top 4. What team sounds interesting to you lot?
And another question, what country's leagues should I use as 6th option? I personally like running 6 countries at once because it makes the competition overview page look right on my monitor.Club Brugge have some good young talents
Diatta, Okereke, De Ketelaere, Lang (on loan)
and some good experience
Mignolet, Vanaken, Rits

Went onto steam, saw football manager and the install button, got excited...realised I'd accidently clicked on an old uninstalled version of FM13

Im like 75% certain that when buying facebook ads you can pick a specific time of day for them to begin and end. So like 9am on the 10th until 10pm on the 14th for example.
Could be wrong though

[FM21] Wealdstone FC - Signing ONLY non-league players
in FM Career Updates
Posted
In Part 12 we are about to begin season 5, but which division are we in? Did we manage to bounce straight back to the Vanarama National at the first time of asking? We play our first league game of the season, review new signings and take a look at the financial situation and some promising youth players.
Season 5 - Episode 12
