  1. The removal of features makes me worry they're going to be reintroduced in a later version, only to then be marketed as a NEW feature instead of a 'returning but improved' feature. The FIFA'ing/EA FC'ing of FM. And personally I'm excited about trying out women's football, but I agree it's unnecessary bloat to one's save file if they have no interest in playing the women's side at all (or vice versa). There should be an option to turn the other side off, like a way of being able to select separate men's and women's leagues and the other side not in your game at all if no leagues from that side are selected. Until the moment the player chooses to add a women's league via the Add/Remove Leagues button, obviously. Or maybe as a compromise remove all the people and transfer activity from the other side and you're only able to see the competition's past winners, like FM already treats unplayable leagues. I can't imagine this kind of data takes up much space in a save file, I think most of the bloat of a save file is because of all the people, transfer activity and all the simulated matches. I'll admit I don't know how much, if anything at all, of this last statement is true.
  2. That's a lot of things that won't be brought back. Bummed about Versus Mode myself, I like the UI changes, however.
  3. Some competitions like the Bundesliga, the Carabao Cup and the UEFA club competitions use their real scoreboard in FM24, I wonder if the PL licence will come with their real one too.
  4. I would have liked a mode like that, but licensing issues is the reason. The closest we can get is by importing national teams into Versus Mode. I do wish SI would give Versus Mode some more customization options, though. Like making your own groups instead of letting the game do that. That'd be too late for Euro 2024, however.
  5. I think lowest is 0.1, but that was only possible in older FM's where you could play 0-5-5 and full on attacking with everyone playing in wrong positions and then lose by more than ten goals. I think nowadays the game doesn't let you put an outfield player in goal anymore. Without trying, I think I've seen 3.4 once in FM10, but that may have been a 3.8 too and I just misremembered. I remember it was for a CB who made 2 crucial mistakes in the same match. First time I had ever seen a player perform that badly.
  6. Any particular reason as to why John van 't Schip is not in 24.3 while he is in 24.2? Licensing issues?
  7. Bundesliga Manager 97, although I had the English version called Total Football Management. I liked that you were able to start from the lowest playable division while keeping your players, but with their stats having been nerfed to fit the league's quality. Or I think that was the case, I don't remember exactly.
  8. I go with a name that's appropriate for the country, for example I use Scott Walker whenever I feel like managing in one of the British leagues.
  9. I can't actually remember if there was one for previous releases, but there will be a data update within the next two weeks, won't there?
  10. Shouldn't this text box be removed from the Original and Your World modes then?
  11. The pre-game editor is taking ages to load the database, which may be because of my low-end PC. It's working at the normal speed after it's successfully loaded, however.
  12. For me three versions stand out: FM07 was my first FM so I'm a little biased towards it, but I like how quickly you can go through a season. I bought it again in a thrift shop a couple of years ago, but that one seems to have a somewhat game-breaking bug with Dutch teams. Also fond memories of FM10. It may have been a bit on the easy side, though. I'm not good at this game (and certainly not back then!), but no matter what tactic I would create in FM10 I'd get decent results at worst. This was the version I put the most hours in. FM13 Classic is another one I played a lot. That mode was just what I needed to rekindle the FM-fire, as I felt the gameplay of full fat FM had already started to feel a bit slow by then. When looking at it from a business perspective, I understand why they axed the PC version, but I'm still sad it's gone. The fact we never got a pre-game editor for it had always felt disappointing to me, too.
  13. I meant awards like the Eredivisie and Keuken Kampioen Divisie Player of the Year award (see the top two pictures), but you're absolutely right they were handed out only last month. Also a minor error, the highest scoring match in the JCS (see the bottom picture) should be Ajax - PSV 3-5, played on 30 July 2022.
  14. Sergio Ramos is retired in-game. EDIT: In Original game mode he isn't. The date of him transferring to Sevilla in Real World mode had passed and he was still an assistant manager, so I guess that's where my confusion came from.
  15. Eredivisie and KKD are missing the award winners of last season, aside of the Eredivisie Top Goalscorer.
