The Saka one, yes it's a foul, but you get plenty of them missed in a match. It's very questionable whether VAR should go back that far to disallow someone knocking in a shot from outside the box. The Kane one, I think is probably a penalty but I've not really seen a conclusive view to show it's inside the box.

Basically Netherlands only attacked when they had no other option and then went back to not offering much during extra time. Argentina definitely deserved to go through. The ref deserves to go home.

Morata should start every game for Spain, he's not perfect but at least he looks like he's attempting to score.

The ref has missed a couple of pretty blatant fouls and given Boufal a completely imaginary one, I've not been particularly impressed. Spain seem like they might be starting to get going.

Simon is quite lucky the second goal is so controversial, it's taking attention away from him being terrible on the equaliser.

I can't really see Spain not going through, they're looking good. Totally agree that Germany aren't a foregone conclusion.
