Definitely need to fix the left hand side and the midfield for the world cup. Balance just not there. I hope Archie Gray develops well at Tottenham as his level of composure would have been massive for helping keep the ball at points (absolutely not suggesting he should have gone obviously, but a player with his skillset and more top level experience would have been handy is what I mean, so hopefully that develops in the next 2 years.) Not really seen much of Wharton but from what I've heard he's the kind of player we could do with as well. We're a bit too frantic and unstructured at times. I think it's time for Southgate as well, he's done a million times better than I thought, but we need someone now who can take us that extra step and I just don't think it's him. But, tbf, I really don't know what options there are.

Spain went incredibly negative against Germany and France. France had sod all quality to do anything. Absolutely wouldn't be done at all if they go in front.

No but they were always going to have more possession. We need to be much better on the ball but this isn't much different to what we should have expected

Spain are obviously favourites, they've been the best team in the tournament and overcoming Germany and France to get to the final is always going to be seen as an achievement. However, France were miles off their best so far, and then in the group Italy and Croatia were incredibly underwhelming. Italy got massively outplayed by Switzerland. We've (incredibly slowly) grown into this tournament, so I wouldn't put too much into who Spain have got past to be honest. But having said all this, we've looked as far off our best as France did so it would definitely be a surprise if we were to win. Spain are just a very good team.

I'm pretty sure the rule is only if the person who scores has it hit their hand does it matter unless it's deliberately, and absolutely nobody is arguing that first one is the deliberate. Then the other it's absolutely impossible to tell for sure it hits his hand. I could be wrong.

I'm so confused why people keep saying it hit his hand, how on earth can you tell definitively from that angle Unless there's another angle that shows it much clearer?

I don't think I've ever complained about a player being kicked getting a free kick to be honest. It's one I don't think VAR should get involved with, but I'm sorry it's not just a block is it? His foot is raised high and he connects with Kane with his stoods. There's other ways to block that don't involve raising your stoods as high as he does. I genuinely don't understand why this is being seen as some travesty of a decision.

That very clearly needs another angle, absolutely impossible to say for definite it hit his hand from that angle.
