  1. Think with someone like Kane, yes he is one of the best and most prolific striker in world but just by nature of his position he can't carry teams. Bit like Lewandowski and Poland. Whereas, in theory, Bellingham could be one of the top 3 players in the world AND by nature of his role carry a team and lift a team up to higher heights.
  2. Farewell Gareth Yes, he probably wasn't quite good enough and this was probably one tournament too many but the memories I've had during his tenure will last forever. Watkins last minute. Colombia penatlies. Beating Germany. These are all all-time football moments for me. So thanks Gareth. Time to move on though, time for a fresh start
  3. My concern with Potter, and I felt this back when he was super popular and everybody wanted him as England manager, is that he strikes me as a coach coach. Like a guy that works with players every day and molds them into his system/style. Not sure how he would do dropping in every now and then. Whereas Howe I think would translate to international football better.
  4. Pep will need quite a lot of training sessions to get Rice playing like Rodri
  5. Klopp is a pipe dream surely. The moment he wants to go into international management it will be with Germany surely
  6. If we want to get over that line and finally win a trophy... is Poch the guy?
  7. I'd be amazed if he stays. He seriously thought about stepping down after Qatar by all accounts. And he said if we didn't win tournament he'd go. If he stays it'll be because the FA have begged him and offered him even more money. Question is then, how stupid are the FA. I feel like they just can't be bothered to do the whole new manager process
  8. Saying what I said, someone like Bielsa 100% drops Kane and I'd 100% be up for him taking charge
  9. Yeah not having that. Spain much better then Italy. Italy (and us) created nothing in that final. Spain lot of good chances in 2nd half tonight. I can't remember anything Italy did except the goal
  10. I don't know He was coming off an injury end of season. People speculated it has effected him this tournament. But thats not the point, my overall point was no manager is dropping Kane unless he is proper injured. You can say it's Southgate's failing but stick whoever you want in charge this summer and they are starting Kane.
  11. No, probably not. It's why I prefaced it with 'if fit'. I guess only Kane and Southgate really know what percent Kane was this tournament. But 99% of managers will try and start Kane as often as they can.
  12. You thinking of Denmark goal. Come on. Not like we scored a ton of goals this tournament
  13. I genunely don't think there is another possible England manager out there that doesn't start Kane (if he'a fit). Like this isn't a Southgate thing. We could have Pep in charge and he'd be starting Kane
