    The trick is to have another wonder kid to step on every 2 or 3 years until you have plenty of money. I'm sure the players that have won the cl will fetch good money. Sell a couple sign some good youth and put some money in wages to keep the rest happy. I had years of doing that in my doncaster save I'm playing ATM.

    Start as a sunday league footballer with no badges makes it harder to start with. Try joining a online clan and you will soon realise the game is alot harder than you thought. We have 12 human managers in our euc clan. Started L2 no badges and sunday league footballer rep. Takes ages to earn respect off you players.

    I haven't experienced this in fm 23. To say it's been a problem for ages is a tad unfair imo. I can't comment on 24 yet as I haven't got it as I don't bother until the proper game is out. Like it says it's early access and that's for a reason. If there was now issue then the full game would be out.

    I have already committed to rejoin the euc as they are reforming for fm 24 mate. Maybe you join that ? Last time we would play Sunday 4 pm until early hours. Then depending on availability of people we would have bonus sessions in the week if everyone could play. We are starting in L2 I think. We will do a draw for who is who.

    I was part of the euc clan for years. Loved it tbh. Headsets on good banter lol. If you don't show your ass man takes over. The more committed you are the better you do. We had 30 sec force continue until match days and transfer windows.

    What I don't understand is how the new features will work. When you last save fm23 there is no set play coach. No intermediaries to sell players and so on. Will they just appear when you fire it back up using fm24 ?

    I think it means they ate a certain ca at a young age. I have had them be wonder kid and only have a tiny bit of pa when looking at editor. A younger player labelled as promising is a good sign as well imo.

    It will be down to the Grimsby researcher I think. I'm not sure how the game can implement sports intelligence if it's for signing players. Brentford use something in real life but I don't see it in th game other than in the club mission for signing certain players. If it's investment then than can an Will be in I'd like to say.

    The better you get the more you got to spend to get th players. Get young players on long contracts. Try an get loans too save wages. The fact is players will want higher wages. Even more so when your low rep in the top division. It's up to you to decide who deserves th wage an what would a replacement cost in wages.

    Offer him a bit of a wag increase and a very cheap relegation release clause. You will never go down so Don't matter an it seam to work sometime.

    You make more money going up through the playoffs than winning the league. Think it's under 100k for winning the league. The playoffs you get gate money from Wembley which is more than 100 k.

    How many league one and two managers get job offers abroad.? Not many if any. Once you get to the prem that's when th offers start in my experience. I'd guess it will be the same in other nations. Until you do well an get a good rep only clubs in the nation your in will know you. The bigger the rep the more clubs abroad will know who you are an offer you a job without having to apply for it.

    I have a preference that i must sign under 23 for my first team in my Doncaster save. I'm three seasons in and got a unexpected 2nd place after a crazy run at the end of my league one season and won promotion to the championship. I knew id struggle so i signed 10 players 8 of them under 23 to develop and get me back up if i go down. I looked at club vision and the board is devestated that i hav'nt signed players under 23. I also got a load of free transfers off the prem released youth. Anyone else had this ?

    Keep tutoring. High Determination don't mean he will reach his max pot. So long as he gains a good personality he will develop.

    No different to real life transfers. Very few are paid in full upfront.

    Mate, you have just won promotion to the league with a massive tv and prize money that amounts to over 100 mill in the first season even if you go down. You should never hav to worry about money again. Even I you go down you have 4 years of parachute payments so you should bounce back up. Back to your question you probably don't get it due to been promoted. I know if a team gets promoted while receiving parachute payments the payments they would o got gets split between efl teams. At least it did it may of changed now.

    I have gone back to playing fm 21. They need to stop adding new features until they get what's in the game working properly. I have bought every copy of fm but I am genuinely thinking of holding off 2024.

    Also add a sell on clause on every sale. Try to get the sell on and not the profit sell on. And keep a eye on your sell on clauses an sell them if pos if you think they won't come off. Never offer loyalty bonous either. The amount of money that saves me and no year increases and promotion rises is loads. In fm 21 you could up the wage a bit an offer nothin to the agent as well and they would sign most times if no other team as in for them. Still works but not a often.

    Have you had any staff go on a course or players? Could be scouts claiming expenses back maybe. It seems rather high though when your not a rich club.
