Honestly can't believe the playing time thing doesn't seem to have been addressed over so many versions now. Starters missing a few cup or home euro games against minnows and coming to you with ultimatums, the alternative being they play every game and are constantly shattered and you can never develop players. Or some because they don't believe they'll ever be good enough to start...Martin Odegaard that. Wild how the player interaction thing feels like it was tossed in years ago with no thought and has not been touched since.

You know when you ask your assman/dof/gardener to suggest a contract and its always complete gibberish that the agent responds with anger to? And when you give your assman/dof/plumber some transfer responsibilities and they constantly try and buy players your scouts, presumably their colleagues, think would be the worst signing of all time? For as long as these features have been in the game, in an identical state from day one? Whats that about?

You know 'The fans are unsure why a player on a hat trick has been withdrawn' that seems to have been a thing in every version of the game for all time? Is that a thing? Outside of your oddball mate remarking on it in the pub once in 1999 i mean. Not important, just an observation.

Every 3 days Al Hilal make an identical derisory offer for Saka, throughout every window. Offer hasn't changed across 3 windows. 24 year old Saka, an important player at champions of england and europe Arsenal (leave it...) is in constant mourning about not being allowed to leave (the offer is £142m less than he agreed was fair). Its really fun.

I can cope with the rotation, fine with that being an aspect of the training and tactics (although you'd think my assman running training could handle this), my issue is half the squad complaining about their playing time when they are playing most games/all important games and actually need resting ocassionally. Especially not when the team and they are in excellent form.

So, you have to rotate heavily or your squad will basically be dead by January but also when you rotate, players who are playing 75-80% of your games are complaining en masse about not playing often enough? Have Rice playing in every important game and 80%+ overall, complaining about his playing time while i am told he needs a rest from playing after every game...

According to my stats, we've hit the woodwork 89 times this season by March...that sounds extreme, not sure what the norm is. Seems Liverpools 8 in 11 games is the top in the prem this season.

Do not understand how tactics/squad screens STILL cant remember your view even if its saved. If you even made it thorugh the lovecraftian nightmare that is even getting the columns you want to show up in the plenty of space available for them... Auto size all columns remains baffling.

Still finding keepers injuring themselves catching the ball a lot. Three prem keepers with broken arms this way by end of September.

Saka update: Still wont sign a new deal summer 2024, because of the interest shown in his. That interest remains two Saudi clubs and now PSG. Also states he wont join PSG because he wouldn't want to join a smaller club... Curious times. He's going to **** his lungs in anger when i turn down this offer. Whats that mate?

Saka finally happy to stay at the club after 4 windows of wanting to join one of the Saudi clubs but still won't even discuss improving his contract because Al Nassr and Al Hilal remain interested...

Don't argue with most of what you say there, just cant really be cited as a fix for problems with the game. If that was the case it'd be included.

And just so it doesn't look like i am whining about having a player injured, just did a quick check (am only 1 1/2 seasons in, no simming) Edersons had 2 months out, Ramsdale 3 months out (currently injured), Matt Turner 2 months (currently injured), Nick Pope 3 months, Alison 2 months (broke his arm, catching the ball). Areola 2 months...its December of the second season and thats just glancing at the top 8 on least conceded where Slonina seems to be the only fit keeper. Wait, you said top 8 and there are only 7 keepers there... I'll stop now i am sure you have it under control. Just wanted some context for my ramblings.

The £6-7 on top of the cost of the game in game editor? To fix problems with the game? Anyway i know fewer injuries than real life football etc but the goalkeeper injury hing is being looked at right? Teams frequently losing their starting keeper every season so far, Just not a thing irl.

Should the continue game timeout really take you past the team asking to talk to you about something? Especially considering interactions are so broken and the game will happily stop processing for a week before deadline day meeting and the like? Also didn't there used to be a 'Concerns/Unhappiness' tab at the top of the squad screen to address this stuff after the fact? MIght have dreamt that tbf Odegaards complaining we only have a starting keeper, an experienced backup keeper, a young keeper and a further high potential young keeper arriving in a few months fwiw. Got the whole team furious about said crisis.

I know its a new FM so theres always going to be too many injuries to start but there seem to be a noticable number of goalkeeper injuries this time? Five starting keepers injured in the prem, three with broken/fractured arms. Couple of backups down too. Might want to start introducing that emergency signing/loan system alongside these one year...

Yeah i had it with PSG and Bayern generally but you sort of accept that, especially early game. Can often ride it out by agreeing a very big fee to accept if it comes in but irksome nonetheless. A difficult balance i guess but they have to find the balance. Will a Ruben Neves go there in his prime if his team accept the offer and he gets massive wages? Yeah we know that. Would Saka kick up a stink at Arsenal turning down £42m from Al Nassr at 21 after his £200k/week contract? Nah.

No idea what the score is with imported saves from fm23, so wouldn't put this in the bug forum but this feels pretty unlikely and simply never happened on fm23 for me. His reasoning being Al Nassr made them his top target...for £42m. Arsenal are 2nd behind Liverpool, comfortably through in the CL fwiw. No other unhappiness in the squad, Saka was giddily happy with life before this.

Anyone elses laptop absolutely screaming at 100% GPU use during matches (and some processing but mainly matches) with fans blasting? Am on commentary only, half time and full time screens always cause a weird surge on all version but its now throughout the whole match. On a new laptop but its the same basic setup as before, just newer and more powerful. And yes my drivers are up to date and no my fans are not full of human hair.

Did i read somewhere that you were going to be able to arrange future transfers in a more nuanced way this version? Bit annoying the kind of restrictions the game puts on transfers that simply wouldn't exist in real life...i think, happy to be corrected. Seems odd you can't just arrange an u21 future transfer for the next window if you have made 6 u21 deals in the current season for example.

So this thing with negotiating contracts now...you basically cannot renew many existing ones if you are over your budget? Just gives you the option of a £350/week contract and nothing else. This is at Arsenal with the 7th highest wage bill in the league, below Villa (as it stands in my game, season 1). Just wouldn't be the case would it? For what its worth Arsenal seem to immediately be in financial trouble on the game, which i hope isn't the case irl. Also, why does every player on earth demand to win a domestic cup in the next 2 years as part of their deal? Is that also a thing irl?
