Yeah, not a pre-pre defeat apologist here, but the Swiss were very effective in that match because they were extremely organised (and Italy were disastrous).
But in a jibe at GS - the Swiss built a functional system and didn't focus on individuals.
The Swiss were very impressive but I can't recall a worse Italian side in the past 30+ years. Totally devoid of any quality outside of maybe two or three.
Italy have really, really stunk the place out. You can't ever rule them out but this has been very poor from them.
The organisation and purpose in the Swiss team is leagues ahead at the moment.
I reckon we'll only make the one change; Mainoo in for TAA.
That'll fix some of the issues, but unless Foden is instructed to stay wide, I think we'll have many of the same issues we've seen so far. Don't **** about Gareth, go Gordon
How are the German media reporting on their performances so far? They haven't been too convincing - is the media there as "special" as it is in the UK?
