I've managed to work out that the game thinks Aberdeen have had 5 back to back relegations and has handed out a parachute payment of £41m. Does anyone have any idea how to counter the games thought process here?

Hello everyone, 

I am trying to move Aberdeen into the Vanarama North. I have used the swap club function and done a straight swap with Bradford (PA).

I have made no additional changes. The issue I am having is when I load up the game Aberdeens bank balance changes to £45m when it should be £1.6m. It says £1.6m in the editor. I have tried small adjustments to £1m, £2m etc but it still loads into the game as £45m. I trust there is something simple I am missing.

In addition if theres anything else I should change to make this swap smoother in game and for long term, any advice is appreciated.

Hey guys,

Getting the above message in my game when attemption to make transfer offers on some foreign players, however its fairly inaccurate as I can in fact sign some players of different nationalities and then not others. I have not been able to find a pattern yet of particular nationalities, leagues they are playing in or anything else, it seems fairly random but very regular.

I have built new leagues for Scotland. Turning the 4 divisions into 20 teams each league. I didn't set any work permit rules.

When I go to league rules, the following is listed under Work Permit Rules: Nations treated as non-foreign - All nations in the UK and Ireland - All Overseas Territories Act nations. However there seems to still be no patern based on those countries listed in there.

Curious if this is a result of something in the editor or a different game glitch.

Edit: A touch more info, I can see in the general tab on the club it says Transfer Policy: Aberdeen are not allowed to sign non scottish players. This is showing for every club in the league. I can't see anywhere in the Editor that indicates this is an option.

 

Further Edit: Out of the 4 leagues I reconstructed, only the premiership has this transfer policy. The rest are free of it. I can't see any difference between the rules or settings of the leagues but obviously I am missing something.

Im in the same boat as most. Dominating games but not scoring. Wins are 1-0 scrapes. Striker not scoring but also getting low ratings. Conceding balls over the top.

Im just away to get it downloaded and give it a go. Will report back. 

In terms of the striker, If i struggle to get a CF should i play a striker in that role anyway or would it be better to change the role to suit the striker? I currently have one target man and two advanced forwards. Many thanks for your work.
