  1. Those kits look nice. Are you paying for a subscription or is that just using the free options? I switched to Kit Creator a few months back and actually prefer the flexibility you get there. It's not possible to quickly create kits for loads of teams but I prefer it when you just want to create a couple for your own team.
  2. Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2046/47 Review (s25) A slightly more interesting season than normal. We failed to qualify for the Champions League group stage for the first time in about a decade. However, we were much more competitive in the Europa League and managed a 2nd place finish in our group. We were convincingly beaten by Valencia in the First Knockout Round of the Europa League. The biggest step forward was in our attendances as we had a higher average attendance in the league than any other team for the first time.
  3. He's going for the holy grail... I'm guessing a Liechtenstein team.
  4. Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2045/46 Review (s24) There's not a lot happening in this save at the moment so I am not going to share many screenshots/details for the time being. Ill probably just stick to the summary tables until we get to a point where we can actually compete with the better teams in Europe. For the past decade we have managed to qualify for the Champions League group stage but have only managed to get out of the group on one occasion. That was due to a couple of lucky results, so there is no chance of any real success in Europe without improvements in the youth players we're producing and the ability of hold on to more of them. I am still really enjoying the save so will stick with it for a while longer, though the pull of Gibraltar is getting stronger! Good luck all.
  5. 45 = 2045 intake year a = top prospect from that intake. b = 2nd best, c = 3rd, and so on.
  6. Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2044/45 Review (s23) Very similar to previous seasons. Dominance domestically but unable to do anything in Europe. Competitions - Domestic Competitions - Europe Players Youth Intake Facilities and Youth Spend The capacity of our ground was increased but 750 (terracing - so no new seating) to 2,250 (500 seating). 7. Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2043/44 Review (s22) Invincible season Another great season domestically and same as usual in Europe where we finished bottom of our Champions League group, but happy to qualify for the group stage again as this is our only real source of income. We sold our best ever player this season (Andrew Catherall) and our goal scoring output took a big hit. He is now playing for Spurs and is on a £165k p/w contract, so quite an increase on the £60 p/w he was earning with us. Despite new owners we are still unable to improve our youth facilities, so they are stuck on Great, despite spending loads on junior coaching and recruitment, having other £100m in the bank and the club having a club culture to develop player using the youth system and a 5yr plan to maintain our youth system as the best in the country (what a shambles!). I'm sure a reputation increase would help, and we have jumped to 3 star in recent seasons (well above the reputation of the best teams in Wales at the start of the game) but its not enough yet. We will push hard in Europe again and try to nick a 3rd place in our (Champions League, hopefully) group. Its a small goal to aim for but the next step in our journey. Competitions - Domestic Competitions - Europe Players Youth Intake Facilities and Youth Spend Our training facilities were downgraded at the end of the previous season but were improved and back to State of the Art by the end of this season. 8. Might be worth dropping a screenshot of the view you're referring to
  9. TV money went up to 10m in my Andorra save and was a pain as all the other clubs went pro and started spending while I was still stuck with my rubbish intakes. I think you're right as there probably isn't a soft cap for editor files, but those that are licenced might have some cap. In Wales TV money is only about 100k after about the same length of time.
  10. Yeah I did. Had to because values in Wales are still crap after 22 seasons.
  11. We had to sell our latest star player at the start of the season. He is now recognised as the 48th best player in the world and by far the youngest in the top 50.
  12. My boy (the Cancelo of Cardiff Corries) got the goal of the season in the league.
  13. Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2042/42 Review (s21) Another very successful season domestically where we managed to the league and Welsh Cup double. We missed out on the League Cup this season after getting thrashed by TNS. Our campaign in Europe was much the same as the last decade. We qualified for the group stage of the Champions League via the league winner qualification route and then struggled in our group. We did manage 4 points in our first two games, scoring once and keeping two clean sheets. Unfortunately we then lost our next three without scoring and scraped a draw in the final game, to finish 4th and bottom of our group. We had a takeover this year, a 'promotion from within'. The new chairman, Alec Hunt, added our first Club Vision. Unfortunately its 'sign high-reputation players. I hit 1,000 games in management this season and am now on 1,027 competitive games with a win percentage of 70%, 2 promotions, 14 league wins and 16 cup wins. I've had 108 awards, total career earnings of £925k, 7578 days in game time and 0 days holiday. I have sold 40 players for a total transfer value of £7.5M. Competitions - Domestic Competitions - Europe Players Youth Intake Facilities and Youth Spend No change. SUMMARY
  14. Completely agree. I am unable to play FM until someone is kind enough to create a more traditional light skin. I raised this a few months back and you can see the response I received in the link below. "Thanks for the feedback, this is a suggestion that has been raised in the community before. As such the idea is to be reviewed and may yet be rejected or with further development end up in a future FM." Please don't reject this request again. Let's try to make the game accessible to as many people as possible.
  15. Welcome aboard. If I've understood correctly, it sounds like they would be eligible in FM22 but not in FM23.
  16. International England (2), Brazil (1), Germany (1) and Italy (1) have all won the world cup. Balon d'Or There have been three standout players in the save. Kylian Mbappe picked up five Balon d'Or awards in his time at Man City, then Cedric Visser (Holland) picked up three awards at Man Utd and Lucas Smith (England) picked up four at Arsenal over a 10 year period.
  17. Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2041/42 Review (s20) & 20 season recap This will be a shorter season review than normal as this marks the 20th season of the save, which I started back at the start of August. Its been slow progress but really enjoyable. There is nothing particularly exciting happened this season, we won the three domestic competitions again (losing our unbeaten run in the league along the way, thanks to TNS). We qualified for the group stage of the UCL but finished bottom of our group. Andrew Catherall 39b (18yr) has developed into a real superstar and has outgrown our club. We are still unable to upgrade our youth facilities of course. Competitions - JD Premier League (1st place but lost our unbeaten run which extended for nearly 100 games) Competitions - UEFA Champions League Players (Catherall is truly amazing and still developing well. He is Ambitious, which is a real worry so could start demanding a move soon) Youth Intake (5 star but no Elite players - at least not on intake day. This is no doubt down to the excellent Catherall who is the benchmark these young'uns are having to match up to) SUMMARY full 20 seasons below as its a bit of a milestone. You can see our average attendances in the league are still awful. There seems to be some sort of cap in the league. We have been stuck with the same chairman for the last 12 years having had a couple in the first eight seasons. 20 Year review I like to track teams / players / competitions etc in my saves to keep my interest but haven't really done so in this save, at least not for a while. I have therefore spent some time seeing what has been going on and have dropped a few images below. Welsh Domestic Football Cardiff Corries have dominated in the last decade Welsh Clubs Swansea City are the top Welsh club in England having played in the Premier League for the last few years. Cardiff City have recently bounced between the Championship and League 1, while Wrexham have gone from the National League to League 1 then down to League 2 during this save. The record player purchase in the JD Premier League is £70k in 2040 (Colwyn Bay), followed by £30k in 2025 (TNS). Welsh National Team The national team have Qualified for one world cup during the save and have bounced between ~50 and 30 in the world rankings. Europe - Top 5 Leagues These leagues are all playable. The English Premier League has the highest reputation and the usual suspects have been fighting for the title throughout the save. The Bundesliga is the second highest reputation and has been dominated by Bayern (they have won ALL) titles during the save. La Liga is the third highest reputation league and has been dominated by Barcelona and Real Madrid. Serie A is the fourth highest reputation and has been dominated by the Milan clubs in the last decade. Lastly, Ligue 1 is the fifth highest reputation league and has been dominated by PSG, though Monaco (3), Rennes (1) and Lyon (1) have managed to win the title during the save. UEFA Champions League and CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores The UCL has been won by several clubs during the save, with the most successful clubs being Bayern (5), Man Utd (4), Man City (2), Real Madrid (2), Chelsea (2). The Copa Lib has been dominated by Brazilian clubs in particular, with the most successful being Sao Paulo (4), Libertad (3, Paraguay), A Mineiro (3), Santos (2), Vasco da Gama (2).
  18. Good idea. I was actually arguing with OpenAI ChatGPT yesterday about something work related. I think I will use this for my updates in the YAC thread.
  19. Cardiff Corinthians - start of 2041/42 (s20) I don't normally showcase my players but am making an exception for my young superstar. We have already had to reject offers from the Premier League and it won't be long until he is demanding a move away, but we will enjoy him while we have him. Andrew Catherall 39b (17 years old) Striker (occasional Attacking Mid) 4 U21 caps for England Wonderkid 31st in NxGn award last season Club Legend after 82 first team games
  20. Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2040/41 Review (s19) Invincible Season (again!) Another incredible invincible season. That's 2 in a row now! The biggest achievement was managing to get out of our CL group this season. We were a bit shaky in CL qualification but managed to get to the group stage, and after losing our first couple of group games it seemed like more of the same (we failed to score a single point in the last 2 seasons). However, this season we managed to pick up not one, but three victories and finished second in our group. We drew Bayern in the first knockout round and lost 10-3 on aggregate. Another amazing achievement is that of our brilliant young forward Catherall, who was 31st in the NxGn 2041 award this season. 21. That takes me back to CM2. Rangers were incredible back then.
  22. Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2038/39 Review (s18) Invincible Season This was an incredible season. We managed a domestic treble and that included an invincible season - my first for about 2 years. We did well to qualify for the European CL group stage again but finished bottom of our group without a point. We sold our star player at the start of the season who is now a full England international. I noticed that there are now 4 professional teams in the league; Cardiff Corinthians (2031), TNS (start of save), Colwyn Bay (2039), and Llundudno (2039) I made it to 800 games in management this season.
