  1. Started this challenge this week and decided on Mendiola. No real reason, mostly just due the board not having huge expectations in the first year. I was planning on doing a youth only challenge, but the facilities are so poor, that I might do 5 seasons signing anyone I want and then immediately cut off all transfers and only use the youth intake.

  3. So I finally finished a better version the Philippines Football League. You can find it on my post here -
  4. I have spent some time trying to recreate the Philippine Football League as accurately as possible (with a slight caveat, in bold below). I have been planning a build a nation with the Philippines, but the handful of databases out there are quite poorly done. Most don't even have enough teams. So I spent a couple of days re-creating this league as close as possible. I have added the teams to the league that were in the database, and created the few teams that weren't. I added or created the real-life squads (thank you Transfermarkt). I have also made sure the teams all have their correct managers and I added the foreigner match squad limits. I have tweaked the Copa Paulino Alcantara too to make sure it pulls the correct teams. A small note. IRL, the teams only play each other once, 14 games in a season. I have edited that slightly so each time plays twice and the Copa Paulino Alcantara plays throughout the season. This isn't 100% accurate to real life, but a 14 game season seems way too short. I have also modified an existing badge pack and added all 15 team's badges. If you have any issues, or really want a version where there are only 14 games in a season, then let me know.   5. I need a final big challenge to end FM24 and I think this might be it. The only issue is that the Filipino teams haven't been updated in ages and a few are missing entirely. Every downloadable database also only has 10 teams, so I will fix it on Wednesday and upload it here. I will make sure that there are 15 teams and fix the squads as much as I can too. Then I can start the challenge on the weekend. Also just realised that they only play each other once IRL, in between April and July. I may modify that slightly and play every team twice and play the league between March and October.
  6. Yeah, as far I am aware. I use about 200 custom nation leagues and it works fine. The IDs might not match up for the badges, but not much I can do about that to be honest.

  11. Here is the 1st version of my Korean 2024 database. This includes the top 2 tiers that are playable already, with the addition of the K3 and K4, the 3rd and 4th tier. I have also added the 3 amateur tiers of the K5, K6 and the K7. The top 4 tiers are accurate as of today. The K5, K6 and K7 information tends to be harder to find until the summer, so this is the 2023 structure. The K3 and K4 were created in 2020 after combining the old 3rd tier Korean National League, the 4th tier K3 Advanced and the 5th tier K3 Basic. In that time, these leagues are yet to fully settle, with handfuls of new teams joining and some dissolving entirely. The K4 also includes 3 K League B teams.   12. File has been updated to fix an issue with Gimcheon being able to buy the players that they had on loan. This should be fixed now.
  13. There is no longer a 'no fantasy' option. This is the only one. This is based on proposed changes in the future.
  14. Finally got the summer update done. Took a while to get all the 2023 data for the K5, K6 and K7. Summer UPDATE: Tranfers Updated to 19/8/2023 K5, K6 and K7 leagues all updated to 2023 teams Removed Goyang Happiness from K4 (folder IRL) Managers in top 4 leagues updated
  15. File has been updated with all transfers up to 25th March. Also eliminated the odd wage tab crash that kept happening. Lots of tweaks to squads in K3 and K4, with stadium tweaks too.
  16. Just thought I would throw an update. After filing a bug, going through 2 weeks of nothing and then being pushed towards Sega support. They made me run the dxdiag twice, update my drivers and then do nothing apart from requesting my save eventually to be sent to the devs, which the bug reports initially was supposed to do. I have finally pinpointed the issue. And I found the fix accidentally whilst trying to fix a training bug. I had 2 season periods set in my nation rules. I don't know why this caused an issue after the update to FM23, but it seemed to. I have attached 2 images to show what was causing the issue, to what I changed it to to fix it. Before: After: It seemed that giving 'level 0' 2 season periods caused the issue. The finance bug has now disappeared.
  17. I did as you asked and contacted support. After checking my dxdiag (twice), suggesting that I update my graphics drivers, ignoring the fact that this issue occurred after the January update and ignoring the fact that other users had the same issue, they suggested that I just don't use that file anymore. So as much as I understand your initial suggestion for this, it has been a waste of a week and support were entirely useless.
  18. Fair enough. I just tested by making every Korean team the same in the finances tab, same balance, same season ticket holders, ticket prices etc. But still crashes. Odd bug, hopefully SI can fix it.
  19. All my clubs have their ticket at £0. I did adjust season ticket numbers though, is this what it is caused by?
  20. Did you ever find a workaround? I tried to check the crash dump and it mentioned an error to do with 'length22', which made me think it was a short name error with an added club/league etc. But I fixed the short names and it still crashed. The error might have had little to do with the error in the crash dump anyway. I have logged it as a bug, but I don't know if that will ever be resolved if it was present in FM22.
  21. I am having an odd issue that seems to have appeared after the last FM update last week. Using my Korean database, if I click on either the the 'Projections' tab in Finances, or the 'Wages' tab in finances, I get an immediate crash to desktop. To replicate, just start a new game with my FMF file, load Korea down to K4 League. Then add yourself as a manager in any K League 2 team. Go to the 'Finances' tab, then click on either 'Projection' or 'Wages'. The game will then crash. This is an issue that a few people who use my database have reported. I will provide my latest crash dump to help with this issue too. This issue did not happen until after the FM23 update last week, the database worked fine until then.   22. Yes, but I have removed it. Also removed all graphics from the graphics folder. Tested with a fresh FM23 folder too apart from my database file
