Better late than never, I have decided to take on this challenge for the first time, using the club on whose pitches I spent a decade playing in the very bottom division of Sunday League - K Sports FC. Based in the outskirts of Maidstone, Kent, and originally formed in 1919 as Ayelsford Paper Mills (the works team of the now demolished paper mill based in the area), K Sports have excellent facilities for their level but no pedigree to speak of, having spent only 1 season at a level above their current division - Southern Counties East Division 1.

An old school manager who is open to new ideas, he has a real focus on fitness and an eye for a player at this level
With a predicted mid-table finish and good facilities for this level of football, there is every reason to be optimistic going into the season
The squad is a mixture of youth and experience but a little unbalanced, looking particularly short of quality up front. It looks like some movement will be needed in the free transfer market before the season starts :
