I don't think so, because this relationship was only meant about Rodrigo Reyes being loaned. He has already ended his loan at Valour FC and has come back to Chivas, but now sent to its B team that plays at the Mexican Expansion League: Tapatío

If you're looking for club's who are challenging because of restrictions then Chivas only sign players with Mexican heritage in a similar manner.

[Mexican Expansion League]

This. The extra point rule is not stated but it is applied. This rule began on 19/20 season, when the league was named "Mexican Promotion League", now "Mexican Expansion League" since 20/21 season.

Yes, it seems there is a problem with the players achievements, because the managers have written their leagues won (either Opening or Closing Stage) on their milestones and biographies.

There is promotion from Expansion League to First Division in FM 21. You have to wait until the 24/25 season which allows the Expansion League Champions Trophy winner to get promoted to First Division for the 25/26 season.

There is promotion to the Mexican First Division in the game from the 24/25 season. The winners from Expansion League 2024 Opening Stage and 2025 Closing Stage face each other in the Expansion League Champions Trophy and the winner gets promoted to the First Division. But you will find in the rules that Pumas Tabasco and Tapatío cannot get promoted because they are Pumas and Chivas B teams, respectively. Under this post you can see how in my saved game UdeG appears in the Mexican First Division.

What you mean about Wikipedia is that on November 19th Liga MX released an statement saying that the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS) favoured the FMF (Mexican Football Federation) decision to suspend the promotion from second to first tier. Something weird about Mineros' stadium, I don't know if it's a mistake but I'm gonna mention it.

At June 2021 the stadium Carlos Vega Villalba has its normal capacity, but in Mineros' facilities profile it says there is a planned work to build "330 seats from terrace conversion", which its completion date is due on July 6th on the same year.

Then I waited until right after Mineros played their next game at home. It had a normal attendance (above four thousand people), but in the list of stadiums from Mexican Expansion League teams, it says that Carlos Vega Villalba has a capacity for 330 people.

The Average Points under the Overview menu can work as an aggregate table. In this image I clicked where it says 2020/21 until it shows the teams in descendent order according to the points they got that year.

I think the differences are reasonable. Mineros and Dorados are the two most competitive and known teams from this division (formerly named Promotion League), but the former changed ownership and the latter has become a much more younger squad in order to fulfill squad regulations and give playing time to loaned players from Tijuana, its feeder club.

Because of squad regulations, new ownerships and four new teams invited to this tier, Expansion League is very unpredictable (it has been in real life this months) and you can win the league even if you finish the regular season in 12th place. 

Maybe Atlante's first season expectations and Tampico title odds are unrealistic.

Issue: Mexican Champions Trophy - Teams already selected for the edition from year 2021

As you may know, this championship faces the winners from both Mexican First Division Opening and Closing Stage from the last season. Due to the pandemic this year there was no game, also because no team was awarded the title for the 2020 Closing Stage that ended early.

The beta is right at no putting a game for the 2020 edition, but the error is this: When you start a game, even at the earliest day (about June 8th 2020 if the Mexican First Division is selected), the teams faced for the 2021 Mexican Champions Trophy are already chosen: Monterrey vs. Tigres

To solve this problem, the game should wait to the winners for the Mexican First Division 20/21 season so when the summer of 2021 arrives, the teams chosen should be: 2020 Mexican First Division Opening Stage vs. 2021 Mexican First Division Closing Stage.

Haven't got FM21 yet. Can someone tell me if Santos Laguna's stadium is still wrongly named "Territorio Santos Modelo" instead of "Estadio Corona"? I was having a conversation in the FM20 tread but it got deleted.

Fixed to Estadio TSM Corona, as it is named in the Liga MX website and regulations. Fixed also Arely to Areli Betsiel (first name) Hernández (last name).

Started a new save with Azores De Hidalgo and got as far as registering a new the squad for the league but it's telling me that they are all non nation born despite all of them being Mexican.

Azores registered a lot of mexican players that according to Liga MX / Expansion League regulations are considered Not Nation Born (NNB). As you can see in the following link with the letters NFM (No Formado en México - Not Formed in Mexico): http://www.ligamx.net/cancha/club/12078
