  1. Funnily, bit of reflection to real life, had VVD and Fabinho both getting red cards within 30 mins...in same game... I rarely play more than 2-3 seasons in row before trying something else.
  2. Interesting that you played Gomez as DL, for me, he is exclusively sub for TAA as DR/WB(R)
  3. I was also bit stumped about that 3 stoppages/5 subs thing, didn't know that, thanks for explanation.
  4. That Koopmeiners is a machine as Carrillero (I can always use Henderson too, which I can also use as DLP). I don't even know why I got that Arthur as loan from Juventus, but he is great (I usually use Thiago as AP). I am using AI to do transfers and training, to make it more fun. Of course then I lost e.g. Keita as transfer, (good price) that I didn't need...but also lost Matip (that I needed). Now DCs are Just Phillips, VanD, Konate and Gomez (who I need to cover for TAA), so some transfer action needed after season. I have too many midfielders and too few DC(BPD), to put it short. Ox and Milner will go, although Milner's versatility makes him good substitute.
  5. Sometimes it is really frustrating when your team has 20+ shots on goal and they have 3...and they score 2 of those... And win 0-2...
  6. That Koopmeiners is absolute murder as CAR. I had even never heard of him before....
  7. I think very few people can be CF, Haland is one. What I like is how CAR works in my tactic, pretty nice role for players I have.
  8. Nunez has been great as PF. Also D. Jota. As previous posters have pointed out, neither is Complete Forward. I can play Henderson also as DM(DLP) since he definitely can. Thiago is better as AP. Having good CAR(su) balances the formation pretty well. Very few goals conceded.
  9. Got couple of good players bought too. Unfortunately I have too many midfielders now and need another good DC(BPD) as backup. Time to axe Milner and Oxlade after season (Keita, Firmino and Matip all wanted to in Jan).
  10. Additional question, should I have BBM or should that player (In this case I was playing Henderson, but Keita too) be something else?
  11. After last patch, my teams has been absolutely murdered with injuries... Maybe something is bit off.
  12. Darwin seems to be hammering well as CF. Just having ridiculous amount of injuries. I let AI to do the training...and after last patch, I am losing all attacking guys...
  13. My idea of having DLP(d) and AP(a) is that they'd pass to each other and BBM would more or less run around. Changing Carvalho to IW(s) might be good idea.
  14. Yea, I did play Firmino as DLF and that worked. My tactic is pretty offensive (pun intended) but works reasonably well. I rarely use personal instructions, just team ones.
  15. This tactic has worked pretty well for me, despite having lot of injury problems... Thing is, Darwin Nunez seems to like to play as pressing forward instead of complete forward. And he doesn't seem to perform well as pressing forward, thus training him as CF. But is there actually big difference and what role would you folks suggest? Besides, after selling Firmino and injuries, I am short of strikers...
  16. Well...I was not amused today... Started new game as Liverpool FC, 2 mins into Community Shield game, Man City gets penalty. Then Firmino is injured. Lost 1-2. Then started new game as Man City, 3 mins into Community Shield game, LFC gets penalty. Then Haland is injured. Won 3-2. Used same tactic for both teams, 4-3-3 DM Wide. That was bit of tinfoil time...
  17. Problem is, you might easily lose the key player for half of season...so it's big risk.
  18. Well, just bought FM 2023 couple of days ago, so not familiar with that option. But in FM 2022 I always leave all injuries to specialist.
