Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 33/34 League Such a weird season - we started terribly and were in the bottom three for a while, then a brilliant run of form got us up to the playoffs by 1 point. We actually ended the year 1st in the XG table - so it showed we are good, and that the first lot of results were just bad luck. Playoffs and we're into the football league! Fluked our way into the final but deserved the win against Barnet. Finances We have £750k in the bank at the end of the year, so I figured maybe some training facilities would be a good idea. Bugger! Now since that happened, the club want to sell players. We lost our keeper and left back for a combined £500k (which is pretty awesome) and both have nice sell on fees. I think I could have got more for our keeper but the board had accepted a few and it was out of my hands. Youth Intake Meh, nothing special, nice to have another keeper as we are a bit short, but we need centre backs! Rowley Competitions Price with the higher ratings this year - he is wanted by a few clubs so he won't be here long! Admin

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 32/33 League Another good year in the Vanarama National league - into the playoffs. At the beginning of the season it looked like we might challenge for the title but the mid season slump killed that! Playoffs It wasn't to be - Semi Final Knockout to eventual winners Kidderminster. Youth Intake Finally a good one! a really good one, this could help us. Kitenge looks special! Kitenge Finances Mixed feelings on this one - it is nice to get the money but.... I could have cashed out the other year for £3.5m, but I waited as his valuation was between 80 and 100m! Obviously a silly mistake, so if we get in that situation again I will cash out! Competitions Paul Moore with the great ratings again - luckily no one is sniffing around him yet! Admin

I think that would make sense yes - to keep the points different from the "top" league but also a good reward.

Good question! I am not sure on the names of each cup competition but I think I would value the most prestigious one at 20 points, then all the others at 10 points. Then super cup(s) still being just the 5 points.

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 31/32 League Second attempt at the Vanarama National league and we did a lot better than the last time we were here. We were a much better side this time, really deserved the step up. We actually had xg to put us 3rd in the table, so we could have easily gotten into the playoffs if we could finish a bit better. Youth Intake Big improvement again this year, we have upgraded the facilities a lot lately and it has showed! (Well it has according to the star rating anyway!) Lots more potential this year, but none of the players seem first team ready. FA Trophy Nice trophy to add to the cabinet. In front of all our loving fans! Competitions Kabamba has had the season of his life - This makes sense as he has been moaning about leaving. I am ignoring his transfer requests but he might be off for free soon! Admin

Natter Garcia - Barwell FC - 30/31 League Smashed it this year! Love it! back into Vanarama league for next year - I think we are in a better place than last time as we have a much improved squad. Youth Intake Not great again - How does everyone else get really good intakes most years? maybe I am doing something wrong. None of the players look very good or useful at the moment, will see if they develop. Finances Another year - and another run in the FA cup to get us tons of money, this year was even better than the last! This is probably one of the best we could get - huge money from this! but their manager was a little bit too cocky.... This gave us the perfect incentive to cause an update... Oh damn - well never mind then! we were a bit too easy here. Competitions Dias' rating is brilliant this year Admin

Love the camouflage goalkeeper kits! Also, you might be OK in the championship, there is usually a bit more money for clubs compared to what you get in league one.

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 29/30 League First season back down in the Vanarama national south - I had a bit of hope we would do well and go back up....ugh, not quite! Well this was crap - not sure what happened but we did terribly for the second half of the season! Youth Intake Boy this is tough - I really thought we would get better than this! Stephenson He's tall? ...that's about it! Manager Profile Coach badges completed - I guess this is how I will look for the rest of this! Finances Finances did well this year - we managed to blag our way to the 3rd round of the FA cup - lucky was an understatement. We got a great draw! We only lost 2-1, pretty good showing, but it netted us a ton of cash! which has helped a lot! (So I did my best to spend some on facilities!) Competitions Team of the Year I want to stick with the 4-4-2 attacking but maybe it isn't the best for a terrible team! Moore is the best player this year - the only one with green ratings! Admin Summary All the badges completed, improved youth recruitment and junior coaching - but terrible in the league! let's hope the improvements help in the future.

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 28/29 League Well...this was crap! To be honest, we were lucky to get this high! We were in it until the final day but it wasn't meant to be! Youth Intake Not great! 4 star quality (the highest PA) is probably just good enough for the Vanarama South/North so....damn. Adjei The coaches do not rate him at all but a fast winger who can dribble...seems good enough for me! Stadium The board decided the stadium needed another upgrade - £700k!!! Half of it was paid by the grant given, but £350k from our finances really hurt. The board have been handing us money to keep the club running for the last few months of the year. Competitions Player ratings epitomise how well we did this year - Bevan is the "standout" but I think he wants to leave soon Admin My contract was running out this year - so when we got relegated I was a bit worried, however a month before the end they offered me a new deal, so the challenge continues!

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 27/28 League Playoffs baby!!! What an improvement on last year! We have been high on the XG table for a while and not getting anywhere, this year we were 15th in the XG table but managed to get to 6th. Youth Intake Excellent update - this is what we needed. Kabamba comes in as our best player straight away, incredible. Kabamba Playoffs We did the impossible! Alfreton coming back from 4-1 to 4-3 after 90 minutes was pretty scary, but we managed to hold on and onto the national league! Competitions Admin

I am predicting a title challenge next year! Looks like you have a good core of players for the first team under 21, if you keep them progressing well you could have a really good team on your hands!

I think this is the best way to look at it - no point doing the challenge if you aren't enjoying it. I look forward to seeing the Maltese Messi soon!

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 26/27 The joys of working from home - cracking out a season in a day! League Improvement! We have finally lived up to our XG, mid table finish is exactly how we performed so that's good, maybe the players are understanding the formation more, or just more lucky this year! Manager Update With our chunk of money dwindling, the board haven't improved youth recruitment at all, but they have been very kind with the badges! All the way up to a Continental B licence now! And the Attributes are looking decent! Working with Youngsters is still 5 - that's not good! Youth Intake Excellent again - Hosek looks very good, Could be a useful "big man" up top. Hosek But my favourite is a guy called Miller - because he is from Fiji. I am hoping he can break into the first team there! Miller Miller is pretty crap but he will get game time! Competitions We finally got to the first round of the FA cup - nice money for that too. 3rd round in the FA Trophy too. Admin

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 25/26 League Well...I wanted a challenge! We started off pretty well - and looked like we would get into the play offs but then we just dropped and couldn't score a goal for ages! 17th finish is good enough - the first few years the board was us to survive, so anything more is a bonus. Again our XG was much higher than our position, we need better strikers! Finances There were rumours of a tycoon, but they quickly vanished. We end the year with just £240k of the £450k we got last year in player sales. Surely this is a good thing right? The board must have invested in facilities...right?? Nope! They decided to spend £150k expanding the stadium by 500 to 3,000, really useful when we get about 300 per game! Youth Intake Another "Excellent" intake - but our team is so terrible it will look like this every time I bet. Moore Moore is more of a playmaker than a winger - but we don't really have need for that in the tactic...striker it is! Competitions FA Trophy 4rd round - and the 4th qualifying for the FA Cup - not sure we will get much further for a while! humble brag....we have the top 5 players for most yellow cards! Admin

Being able to use the top teams in a sort of "challenge" was my plan for this, gives you a chance to manager Barcelona, Man City, PSG etc, and something different to the Glory Hunter. I've been slowly progressing my save on here - in between other saves!

Yeah that was pretty lucky! I had resigned myself to getting like 10k for him, I just wanted the sell on clause, but clubs just kept coming back with more and more.

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 24/25 League We got off to a flying start in the league - 4 wins out of 6 left us feeling pretty confident. Then I didn't win for 11 games. Our team was in OK shape when I took over, predicted 23rd of 24, but most of them were on non contracts and as soon as we started winning the players found new clubs. We struggled until we got the youth intake in, we needed to reinforcements, and when they arrived they were put to work - even though they are pretty green (club colour based pun!) We finished 18th and very happy after being relegated on my last few attempts. Our XG was a bit different...we were 11th in the XG table - shall I take that as a good thing? Cups 4th round for the FA Trophy, and 4th qualifying round for the FA cup were good enough for the year - they gave us a bit of money which is always helpful. Speaking of Money.. Sales Apart from the freebies who left for new clubs (without giving us their standard 4 week notice!!) we had one big sale. Emini Rouse Rouse was our best player, and was here when we arrived, unfortunately the clubs above detected he had good potential and came to plunder. Originally, he asked me to accept offers of £700, luckily I ignored him. I did the tried and tested tactic of accepting one offer and rejecting the rest, and slowly but surely baiting the price up. We managed to get £450k, with 50% profit on next sell too. Incredible! However he is worth a lot more now. I think this is a good thing, hopefully they sell him and we make funds off him. I have added him to the shortlist to keep track of his career. With these new funds - I asked for facility upgrades but they refused, also refusing the coaching badges I need too! Youth Intake Decent enough youth intake - promised excellent - wasn't what I was hoping for, for the first intake. Alex Lee He is a big guy who can jump and is brave - that is it. 3 in strength!!!!!! Team of the Year Enoru with the highest rating - his goals have been vital but struggling to get him to sign a new deal! As pictured above, we have gone for a nice attacking 4-4-2. We don't believe in defense, just getting the ball as far forward as possible and as quick as possible. Admin I've also stolen the idea for the Bingo card! It's a great idea!

Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC Facilities ain't looking great! This is the third team I have tried recently in England - fired twice early on with Salisbury, and then Lancaster City. Posting now as I survived the first season! Loving the lovely neon green kit with yellow pinstripes, perfection in kit form!
