  1. Anyone have any issues with players getting annoyed because of resting them for a game? Left out Adeyemi & 2 other starters for FA cup game as wanted to give them a rest but now all 3 wanted chats due to this. All 3 are bloody starters so it's annoying but looks like.no choice but run them.into ground now hoping they don't get injured

@knap Im struggling with Spurs, i have tried PARIS 4213 P107 EC CC, FM22KashirKnapHubs433101ECCCArsenalP96,FM22WarriorKnap4222VolP105EC. Every tactic works Ok at home, scoring alot of goals, but away - i simply cant win again top 6-7 sides in PL... Won 7-1 at Home against Chelsea using 4222 tactic above, was crushed 4-1away, they 25(!) shots, i had 8..Any tips for a certain tactic, maybe an away tactic?

I'm using Kashmir 433 in January of first season & top by 2 points. 14 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws.

Signed Kessie and now secured a work permit so Adeyemi is coming back from loan so will help with numbers for.the 3 up top.. Gil does well on right of front 3 so if you sign another striker you will have Kane, son, Gil, Scarlett and another for the 5 spaces.

You could always ask the board to negotiate for Haaland. I've asked them twice over three seasons - once for Aruajo and once for Kimmich, and they spent well over the available transfer budget for both and, for Kimmich, offered him £325pk p/w.

Could try it alright but Willow's younger brother Levy isn't too hospitable but if I get the chance to get Haaland il probably ask alright.

Kimmich is some signing, he listed by Bayern? I know the game isn't perfect but they do a great job ensuring that every save is different with different players becoming available for transfer, falling out with managers etc.

Haland went to City for £330k p/w with a £56k appearance fee and £52k goal bonus (and considering he scored 41 league goals for them in season 2 and has 19 in 14 in the league so far in season 3, he's doing pretty well for himself!)

Obviously Haaland is insanely good, but both Vlahovic and Adeyemi are extremely good and are very achieveable for Spurs. I got Adeyemi for £17.5m in January 2023.

Yea haaland could well be off table at those sort of wages. Suppose I just got bit carried away with thoughts of having Kane, son, Adeyemi, Gil and mbappe/haaland as options for front 3. Might "settle" for vlahovic as longer term replacement for Kane & Son.

James ward prowse seems to be doing well in my version and from a few others I've seen, he worth picking up for a 3 man midfield?

  5. Guess the game is realistic enough, after I offered mbappe a contract both pool and Madrid offered him one and he chose Madrid for 450k a week with 70k appearance fee so good bit above my 275K and 140k appearance. Ah well he has a **** celebration anyway.

Is Haaland achievable for spurs after first season? I'm top of league at start at Jan so expect a top 4 finish at worst but hopefully might keep up good run now that Adeyemi has a work permit after banging in goals in Holland for Feyenoord.

Hopefully post up a few screenshots tomorrow but PEH and Gil have been revelations for me, Madrid want PEH and even though he's done well might cash in and go with ward prowse to help with home grown.

  6. 2nd January in first season, first with 14 wins, 3 defeats and 2 losses. That bloody lot are only a couple of points behind and have the best defensive record in the league, don't know how that can happen with their "process" manager.

Just offered a contract to mbappe, max guaranteed wage I could give him was 275k so bumped up on add-ons. He'll cost a bloody fortune but worth it. No one else in for him yet, so tempted to sim forward 2 weeks to see if he accepts (obviously I won't but the thoughts of him & balon d'Or winner Kane up front with Adeyemi is something to look forward to)

Hey guys, I'm a bit of a FM noobie, I've played a fair bit before but never known a lot about the full ins and outs of the game. I wondered, what's the best method for finding these unbelievable regens you guys find? I'm currently searching by max age 16 and looking at the highest transfer value, this feels inefficient though and to be honest most of them seem a bit meh. Any tips?

    Thanks!

Sending scouts out to look and also you need to scroll through top international sides youth teams and also club teams as well. Keep an eye on international teams ratings as they will impact on chances of getting a great regen in that country e.g. if Ireland did well in international competitions this will increase chance of getting a great newgen from there

There are too many Edwards? Which one?

    Any staff suggestion?

Would try them for suggestions as it will depend on what leagues you have. David trezeguet is probably the best free scout available but he'll want around 8k pw.

Given the amount of staff you need to bring in would recommend sticking with as many existing staff as possible and leave upgrading to second season because there's 12+ staff that need to be brought in.

I’ve been able to bring in Raphina, Milenkovic, Sule, Brozovic, Vlahovic and Weigl without a problem. Who are you targeting?

It's something that was said by a few on another forum. I haven't gotten fair enough yet to buy players as still sorting out staff, tactics etc before I start winking and lifting up my skirt to Newcastle to get more funds

  10. Didn't realise we start we so many gaps to fill in the staff. That 250k excess wage gets a good chunk taken out of it, think it's 8 scouts, chief scout, technical director, some analyst's & at least 3 coaches all need to be filled. That's before upgrading on assistant manager and hitchen. Think il be keeping assistant and hitchen for the first season and try and upgrade next year.

On the new update, Conte is manager and you have 100m transfer budget and 250k in spare wages.

Sarr's potential looks to have increased too

Makes sense I suppose as no way conte took on the job without a promise of decent transfer budget. Hopefully Newcastle still love buying our casts offs as that would give a decent chunk to do long overdue refresh

If you wait 1-2 weeks you can usually get Dan-Axel Zagadou for 6.5m pounds. He’s an amazing left footed CB, fills the hole left by Vertonghen.

Also, consider selling players to Newcastle to shore up your finances. You can get hefty fees from them.

    Cheers bud.

Watched a few spurs FM vids and it's great that different players come up for sale on different games but there's usually a few players in each game who are available and can improve us. A CB, CM and RW badly needed as hoping to give Scarlett a few minutes here and there
