I've just finished what was, without a doubt, the best season I've ever had of any FM I've ever played. An almost perfect Serie A season in which my team won all the 38 Serie A matches, conceding just one single goal... (damn Padova! )
In the whole season (Serie A + Cups) I conceded only 8 goals in 60 games, won 57 and drew only 3. My team hasn't lost a single game. This allowed me to win all the competitions in which I participated.
I had already excellent seasons in which I won most of the games, but you typically always end up with some draws, some defeats, and of course you concede some goals.
I think the superb results of this season are due to an almost perfect mix of tactics (that I do not change much) and especially having the very right players in the very right places... besides being on the good tail of the gaussian distribution of luck
