Are there plans for FM19 to use more multi core performance to allow simulating to be faster?

As discussed previously, performance is indistinguishable from my i7-7700k, confirming what i always suspected: SI don't care about performance.

Is there ever any plan to substantially improve the speed of the game? As a backend developer there seem to be a lot of areas where the speed (as in day to day processing) could be improved but thus far has not been.
