[FM20 won't launch - 20.1.4]

I solved my issue entering -fullscreen in the steam launch options.

So... I've solved the issue, and I think it can be useful for other people.

I went in the launch options on steam (right click on the game / properties / set launch options) and set it to -fullscreen

The game then managed to launch properly,

Then, I can change the settings normally in game, put it in windowed, etc.

I can finally remove the launch options.

It managed to work for me, so it could work for others !

So, based on other solutions found on the message boards, I tested in someone else's windows session on the same PC, and it works there.

However, let's say that it's far from an ideal solution...

I'm launching directly from steam.

The preparing to launch window appears normally.

The Play button become a Stop button.

The icon appears in the task bar, but when hovering on it, the preview window only shows a black square. Nothing happens when clicking on the icon or when alt tabbing to it.

In the task manager, the app uses around 20% CPU at launch, but quickly goes to 0.1% CPU usage.

Hi,

I've played during the beta and the first few days of launch without problems.

However now, when trying to launch the game, the icon appears in the task bar, yet nothing happens when clicking on it.

Things I did to solve the issue :

- reinstall the game

- remove every extra graphics files

- clear cache

- uninstall, remove every file from the documents folder and reinstall

- uninstall my amd drivers and reinstall them

- set launch options to --config very_low

However, Football Manager 2020 was previously working for me.

Don't know if it's a SI error or your's, but FC London and Alliance United FC of League1 Ontario play correctly in the League1 Ontario, but appear on their team page and stats as if they were playing in the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec.

I seem to remember the first release having some for the CanPL.
