  1. The release of new 3d match engine will always improve the minimum requirements. 20GB is available space isn't that big, NBA 2k consumes over 100GB of disk space for example. It's a huge release year, the major one in years. I'm a little bit more patient and compressive with that situation because I'm also a software developer and know how tough big software updates can be for project delivery
  2. There will be 2 weeks early access for pre orders this year? I can't find any mention to it so far
  3. Maybe you should open a thread in the support with that situation. If you still have your save game file in the season where that situations happened they can check and figure what's wrong
  4. That's a very important notification to check. In my first save in FM24 I have promoted Torquay in straight season from Vanarama to Championship, in most of the seasons the key players were two youth players released by Manchester United, Jack Moorhouse and Ethan Williams
  5. The option to request a coaching course is should be available after you complete degree or I guess after 6 months after your last request. Try request near ending of the season to lower board constrains about your availability to be present in the daily training sessions
  6. When Ryan Guald came to Portugal to play for Sporting Clube of Portugal, there was a big expectation and some people describe him as "mini Messi". A wonderkid expectation, but not even close. Just keep loan the player or put him playing on your reserve teams and see how he develops until age of 20 or 21. Sometimes the player with a low star grade develops very well and become a good addition to first and sometimes the 3.5 stars or higher player doesn't develop as expected and never play for first team. As long the player is having good consistent training performance (8 or higher) just offer him a contract, loan him and see how far he goes, sometimes it's a good surprise, sometimes you still sell them for a good fee
  7. Unless you are Duncan Macleod the Highlander
  8. I have played international management while keep training a normal football teams. After having a good reputation I'm always look for international management jobs to apply
  9. Sometimes my DOF also fails contract negotiation, but most of the time he's able to negotiate successfully the contracts
  10. I use mostly the DOF on lower league clubs, because I have a small scouting team and very low amount of scouted players usually. So I ask them for a free transfer suggestions, so I can bring those players with a trial contract to reveal faster their attributes. I also ask for transfer targets, that way I can define scout priorities to those players to reveal their attributes. Usually I doesn't need to do it in big teams, because usually there's already a good enough squad and as the season progress the large scouting team will keep generating scout reports and reveal player attributes. Avoiding query regularly the DOF. After talking with agent and try lower contract demands, I ask to DOF negotiate the contract with that player. After filter the initial staff and setup a solid staff team I also ask for DOF to negotiate contract with staff when their contract are on the last year
  11. Intelligence is what allows players to play a few more years than usual. They become slow but if they can make good decisions, have good technique, good vision and game reading skills they can play a few more years
  12. I won't call that player a winger anymore because of his low physical attributes. However due his excellent technical and mental attributes I would use him as Advanced playmaker from the wing or as AMC. If you good wingback for attacking duty it would do a good match on the wing with an advanced playmaker, because the cut inside moves will create space for wingback forward runs
  13. I do some press conferences by my self and others I just send the assistant manager, to manage media handling attributes
  14. For scouting I only set two recruitment focus. One for age between 15 and 21 and other for age of 22 or more. Then I split the scouts and analysts equally for both assignments. If you are on a big team, with worldwide scouting package then scouts will develop knowledge over many countries, I some scout with knowledge of 35 countries already. This approach will send your scout to look for players under the defined age range within the scouting package area and scouts will develop global knowledge of your scouting pack range.
  15. On my first FM24 save with Torquay for countless times I was able to assume high pressure strategy against opponents that under normal conditions would beat my team because of poor AI people management. While I do some rotation and try minimize as much as I can the game time to tired players or with poor physical condition, the AI doesn't seems to do it well. I didn't check if those managers had a poor people management attribute
